Envy was an interesting demon. She had short, viberant blue hair, multiple prircings, and black glasses that she almost never wore. She was short, feminine, sassy, and quite sarcastic. Envy was a demon by birth, but used female pronouns. The creature stood shirtless in the apartment that she shared with Lust, cooking a meal at the stove.
The door swung open with a sudden BANG that caused Envy to flip around with a shrieking hiss, extending her long, thin claws. Her hair falling into her line of sight as she hissed again.
"Woah!" A familiar, silky, voice called from around the corner. "Learn to control those instincts of yours!" The voice added with a chuckle.
"Oh leave it be!" Envy raised her pierced eyebrow in annoyance as Lust rounded the corner, and toothy grin plastered on her face.
"What'chu maken'?" Lust asked, changing the subject. Envy turned back to the stove, turning it off with a giggle.
"...bacon..." She replied timidly. Lust smiled and practically danced to her roommate's side.
"Lucifer... it smells good!" She purred, earning an eye roll from the demon beside her. "What?" She asked.
"Don't use the Lord's name in vain!"
The both broke down in laughter. The pair loved to make fun of human speech and religion. Envy sheathed her claws and put an arm over Lust's small shoulders. All of the demoness' features were very defined compared to most humans.
After they had arrived in the human world, the two demons had decided to work together to get an apartment. Envy used to work at a coffee shop, but "quit", AKA was fired, for being a nuance to customers. Lust worked at a less savory place. She worked at a strip club. Lust loved her job, she got to be who she truly was. People even called her a sin there! The job provided decent pay and kept rent (525,600 minutes...) paid.
"Well someone's in a good mood," Envy commented, her clawed hands on her hips. "Who'd you torment today?" The demon asked.
"A little girl on the bus. She was religious."
"Oh you little devil!"
"Hell yeah!"
The two sins cackled. It had been a good day for both of them.
