Summer camp

4 - i still hate you

EMMA'S POV

I can't even think right now I'm falling for the bad boy and I don't know what to do about it... Bianca told me this morning that I should think about the consequences that could happen, but honestly he seems like a complete bitch.

this morning I woke up and I put on my white crop top and light blue jeans.

I step out of the camper into the warm summer air and slipped my feet into my superstars.

Bianca's already sitting at the table eating waffles for breakfast. I take a seat next to  her and grab two waffles for myself.

I quickly lunge and grab my backpack from the stool. Then I grab Bianca by her wrist and we rush over to the camp counsellors. Erin and Alice are waiting for us.

"Alright team! Today we're going rafting!" Alice shouts.

"And... we're going to have to pair you up!" Erin adds.

Oh no! I could get paired with him and that would NOT I repeat NOT be good. I cross my fingers and luckily I get paired with Bianca but... our other two partners and KY and Jace! Just great!

"Hey princess!" He calls to me and I roll my eyes.

"Hey dumbass!" I say back.
He smiles and looks at me like I'm a clueless puppy who is gonna fall right for his idiotic yet devilishly handsome ways.

Bianca steps between us and points her finger in his face.

"Don't touch her, or I'll cut your balls off!" She threatens and he puts his hands up in mock surrender.

"The good girls always fall for the bad boys!" He says laughing.

"You wish! I would die before letting you touch me!" I shout getting mad.
"Settle down kids!" Erin yells at us and motions to our raft.

There's four seats in the boat and me and Bianca sit together. Across from me is the son of a bitch and across from Bianca is Jace.

"You'll warm up to me princess" he whispers so only I can hear it.

We start the rafting and I feel Bianca turning around to face Jace.

"You think your so cool, well guess what buddy you can't just say things like that and expect me not to hate you!"
She screams in such a high pitched voice it makes the three of cringe!

Suddenly none of us are paying attention to the waves and one of them goes right over the boat and soaks us. Bianca lets out a whimper while I just sit there trying to pretend there is no water in my pants.

"All right kids we're going to pull over here for Half and hour to do the cliff jumping!"

I'm last to get out of the boat and KY reaches his hand out to me to help me out.

I take his hand and realize how warm it is. He gives me a soft smile and nobody but me saw it.

I jump out and grab Bianca's hand rushing up to the cliff. I look down and realize it's to high. I start to shake. But Bianca already went and she jumped with Jace!

I suddenly feel a warm hand entwine our fingers together. I look down at my hand and pull my hand away.

"You ready?" He asks me

"I can go alone." I say.

Unfortunately he wraps his other arm around my waist and jumps pulling me with him.

I take a deep breath and we hit the water. He doesn't let go of my waist even as we surface.

I watch as everybody else floats off in the other direction but he pulls me into a beautiful underwater cave. He takes of his fleece revealing his six pack and toned muscles. I sit there with a slightly open mouth and he catches me staring.

"What?!" He asks in mock shock. I look away and he pulls me up.

"We should get back to the others. And don't ever touch me again!" I say and pull away.

He follows me out and we jump right back into the water. I used to be in a competitive swim team so I beat him getting back. I get out of the water and run out to Bianca, whispering everything that happened in her ear.

She walks over to him and says something that makes him laugh.

"He won't dare touch you again!"
She says looking pretty proud. I look at her with a smile but I guess my disappointment kinda shows.

"You like him a lot." She says acknowledging my presence.

"Nah." I say quietly but as usual she see's right through me.

KY'S POV

"Don't ever speak to her or touch her again! Does your dumb a** mind understand me!?!" Bianca screams as she slaps me HARD!

I laugh trying to make it look like I don't care. But I do. I really do care!

Bianca walks back over to Emma, and I see her disappointed face when Bianca tells her what she told me.

Is that a sign that she cares. I'm going to admit she's one of the first girls to reject me.

I can't stop looking at her eyes. They're so f**king blue it's not even possible!!

I try not to look at her again because I can't deal with the fact that she might not care.

I walk back over to Jace, Derek and Tyler. They can tell something's wrong.

"What's wrong bro?!" Derek asks me.

"Nothing!" I lie. Jace is the only one who knows how much I like her. I don't know what I have to do to show her, but I mean look at her she a framing goddess the way she walks with her head held high! I just need to get to know her

I walk back to our raft and see Emma squatting near the water collecting rocks. She examines each one carefully with her fine fingers. I smile watching her blow on them her mouth forming a perfect O. She catches me staring and rolls her eyes.

She walked over to me opens my hand and puts something into it; a beautiful blue gem the colour of her eyes.
"Just forget it" She smirks.
I smile to myself maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe she'll be the one to change me...
