9 - everyone finds out

EMMA'S POV

I wake up groggily feeling KY's warm arms wrapped tightly around me.

I turn around facing his gorgeous face and stare at his perfect features.

He lazily opens one eye and smiles.

"Enjoying yourself?" He asks with a cocky grin plastered across his face.

"Quite so..." I whisper embarrassed he caught me.

He lets out a sigh.

"What's wrong?" I question. I look at his troubled face and see his panicked expression.

"Last night... you told me about one of your dreams... about how someone wanted to keep a secret from me... do you remember?" He asked keeping his voice hushed.

"Kind of..." I reply. He looked at me as if he were afraid of me.

"Well... you had some sort of vision, a message from my father..." he manages to squeak out.

I look at him as if he's lost his mind. But he stands there head held high and stands his ground.

"Why would your dad send me a 'message' ?" I say using air quotation marks.

"I don't know. That's what I'm trying to figure out Emma!" He says frustratingly running his fingers through his hair.

I rub my hand up and down his back until he calms down a bit.
He looks at me with so much hope and wanting that I can't resist cupping his face and looking into his memorizing green eyes.

"You will get through this KY! So stop sulking and do something about it!"

He looks back at me with a smirk and pulls me in kissing my forehead.

"You're adorable when you act tough you know?" He whispers in my ear and kisses my neck. He hits a ticklish spot and I giggle and swat him away.

"And fear is quite cute on you!" I fire back.

Zach comes to pick us up from the cabin since he heard of the accident.

"Emma are you ok? What about you Bianca? Anybody hurt? Omg what the f**k happened?! How could I leave you alone ever again!" He say ranting to himself.

"Zachy it's ok! really!" I shout at him and he gives me the biggest hug ever.

Alice walks over to the ambulance and talks to the paramedics taking away the body, while Erin comes over it us.

"Hello Zach." Erin says stretching out his hand.

"Hi." Zach says eying him suspiciously.

"How much room do you have in your car?" Erin asks looking around to see how many people are left.

"4 ."

"Ok you'll take Emma, Bianca, KY and Jace." He says making sure everybody has a car.

"Ok me and KY will sit in the back and Bianca and Jace in the middle with Zach driving and our bags in the shotgun!" I say organizing everything.

"What would we do without you!" Bianca joked.

"None of you would be here without me!" I say with mock pity, causing everyone including Erin to laugh.

I get into the car first and KY follows. I buckle my seatbelt and stare out the window.

The trees looks as though they've been parted by human hands to make a road leading out of the forest.

Zach starts up the car and we head on back to the camp grounds.

"So what are your names again?" Zach says referring to KY and Jace.

"My name is Jace and this is KY." He said pointing to KY over his shoulder.

I feel KY entwine our fingers together and I stare down at our hands. They fit perfectly. Like a puzzle.

His hands were so big, he could hold one of my fist in his hand.

I lay against him forgetting we're in the car with Bianca, Jace and my brother. His breathing is slow and steady. He uses his hand to guide my lips to his. I pull away quickly realizing Bianca saw us.

"dead..." I whisper to KY.

He nods and stares at Bianca.

"Emma! What the hell?! Is he your boyfriend?!" She shrieks in disgust.

"WHAT?!" Zach yells from the front and Jace is just sitting there with a giant grin on his face.

"So what if he is?!" KY snaps back.

"I'll beat the shit out of you! You pathetic a**hole!" She hisses at him.

"STOP!" Zach yells from the front. He gives me a small sad smile.

"If you're happy then nobody can object." He said softly.

I stared at him in shock as did Bianca. He gave KY a small nod of approval before turning his focus back to the road.

KY gives Bianca a smug grin and she shows him her middle finger.

"If you two don't earn to get along I'm ending both our relationships!" I say which made them both shut up.

Zach makes a U turn and parks in the field back at the camp grounds.

I grab Bianca's hand and run down to the beach.

"I'm sorry." She whispered so quietly I barely even heard it.

"What for?" I asked her scrunching up my nose as KY and Jace approached.

"Being so cruel! You should know..." she looked at Jace.
"Jace and I have been dating as well..." she says looking at me to catch my reaction. I let out a squeal and hug her.

She seems so surprised by the gesture that she flinches.

"I'm so happy for you!" I breath letting her go. I look at Jace and see the way he looks at her... I smile as KY grabs my hand leading me to a little grassy spot on the beach.

"I was thinking..." I said cockily.

As if he read my mind he closed up the gap between us with a kiss.

He pushed me on my back without breaking the kiss and I pulled him down with me.

Boy was he heavy. I gently tugged his bottom lip and a little groan escaped his lips. His body was pressing against mine as I broke the kiss.

He looked at me sad to end this moment but I wasn't looking at him. I was looking at the guy from my vision... the killer... KY's dad!
