Chapter 1 : What Would You Like To Order?
Sam's POV
"Welcome to Silvers' Diner! Can I start you off with some drinks?" I ask the family sitting in front of me. But you guessed it!
I work for the family, MY family business. The names Samantha Silvers, 14 year old freshman at WestBrooke High. You also guessed that!
A school full of fakes and phonies. My sister, Madison, just so happen to be one of them. She breaks dad's pocket to get that 'insanely, totally beautiful hand bag that's just so adorable'. Me, on the other hand, still wears my vans from like, 7th grade.
It's okay though, I'm not a materials type of girl anyway.
"Uh, yes! Two Sprites, a Coke, and an orange juice" the burly man says. I nod and write everything down. "Oh, and put those in glass cups" he demanded. I let out a forced smile. "That's all we use sir" I say and he nods. "God knows what goes down in plastic cups" he said shaking his head in a disgusted manner.
I spin on my heels, heading toward the kitchen. I grab four cups and straws and began pouring liquid into them. "Seriously hate this so much" I say to myself. I cut up lemon slices for the Sprites and stuck them on the cups.

I fall back onto my bed. My phone dings that oh so familiar sound. I grab it and look who it's from.
Logan:
Hey beautiful! How was work at the Diner?
Me:
Same ole, same ole. Rude ass people. Ugh! I wish I could just quit!
Logan:
You'll survive. I just wish I could be there for you!
Me:
You could! You just don't want to...
Logan:
I'm just not ready to reveal my identity to you. I promise I'm a good guy ;)
Me:
I believe you Logan. Good night, I love you.
Logan:
Good night, Sam. I love you too.
I shut off my phone and get up from my bed. I take off my uniform and drop it in the dirty clothes hamper in my bathroom. I hop in the shower and wash the smell of grease from my body and hair.

After I'm dressed, I grab my phone and go to messages. I click on Logan's name and began typing...
Me:
Logan...
Logan:
Yes, Sam?
Me:
Please tell me who you are.
Logan:
I will, soon. I promise I won't keep you in the dark for much longer.
