Logan's POV

I was currently sitting in the commons room scrolling through random things on my phone, Morality was also sitting in the commons room, presumably doing the same. It wasn't something I had admitted out loud, but I knew I had grown very fond of the child like character. Something about the way he cares for everyone, and always has a smile on his face. I admire him for his compassion. However, despite my feelings for him, I doubt we could ever be together, we were far too different. He was about emotions and impulse, I was about reasoning and rational thinking.

Despite knowing this, I still hung onto hope, as silly as that sounds. Maybe it was the way he smiled at me, or the way he always seemed interested in the random fact I would tell him through out the day. I didn't know the exact reason, but I knew my feelings existed.

I continued ignoring these feelings however, and went back to my phone, until I spotted something interesting. It was a story I had found, it was labeled Logicality. It peaked my interest, so I decided to read it. I quickly became aware of what it was about, and reading it disturbed me. I didn't mind that it was a story about me and Patton dating, in fact I could get behind that. What bothered me was the grammar of the piece.

Many words were misspelled, some words were missing, sentences were incomplete, and we were portrayed as oblivious characters who couldn't see something that was right in front of our faces. It infuriated me, I could barely stand to read it anymore.

But at that moment Patton had looked up at me and seen the the look of pain and anger on my face. "Logan, are you okay Kiddo? Is something wrong?" He sounded concerned. I sighed. "I'm just reading this story online and it is absolutely terrible." Patton moved closer to where I was sitting, looking over my shoulder to read it, as I tilted the phone screen towards him.

"What don't you like about the Logan? Do you not like the plot?" Patton was blushing, but I thought nothing of it. That's when I realized the content of the story I was showing Patton. It wasn't anything inappropriate, but it was a story about us being a couple. Now I was also blushing.

"The plot isn't the problem, I don't mind the idea behind the story, the grammar is simply horrendous though." I sighed, looking back over at all of the missing punctuation and misspelled words. At what I said, Patton blushed even more.

"Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm not like you about grammar but even I can tell it needs some editing." Patton responded. "Not just some editing, heavy editing is what it needs. It should basically be re-written. If it weren't for the grammar it could actually be a good story." I realized what I said and blushed bright red. I had basically just admitted that I thought me and Patton could be good together. I looked over at Patton and he was even brighter red than me, if that was even possible.

"You know, you can find other stories online with similar plot lines, I can show some to you." He wasn't meeting my eyes anymore. "I suppose, I wouldn't mind reading this story if it hadn't been for the grammar." Patton proceeds to type in the words 'Logicality One-shots' into google, and immediately several stories pop up. Some even have cover art of my and Patton on the front. I thank Patton and take my phone back, he still won't meet my eyes but says it was no problem and walks away towards his room. I shrug off his odd behavior and begin to read the much better edited stories about Patton and me, though I had a question lingering in my mind. How did Patton know these stories existed, and how did he know how to find them?

Later in the day Patton had come out of his room and headed to the kitchen to make dinner for everyone. I follow him into the kitchen. "Morality, I have a question for you." Without turning around from the ingredients he's preparing, he says "Shoot," and I take a deep breath. "How did you know what to search to find all of those stories earlier?" For a moment he froze, until he stiffly began cutting up a green onion. "I've read a lot of those stories before, honestly I really like the idea of them." He says quietly, barely being heard over the sound of the knife hitting the cutting board.

I realize what this meant. It must mean he likes the idea of us being a couple just like I do. Confidence surges through me, something I'm not used to feeling. I walk up behind Patton, and I can tell he can feel my breath on his neck because small hairs stand up. There was no point in being shy about it now. I lean down to whisper in his ear "You know, we could make those a reality." I say quietly, watching how he freezes under me while I place my hands on his waist. "I might like that." Patton said, trying to pretend he wasn't nervous under my sudden physical contact. "You might? I guess we'll have to find out together won't we?" He offers a small nod, and that's all I need.

I turn him around, hands still on his waist, and lean down staring at his lips. I look up, and he's looking in my eyes. He once again gives me a small nod, and I lean down further, connecting our lips and bringing him closer to me. He wraps his arms around my neck and his fingers find their way into my hair. I pull back and ask "So what's your answer now?" He blushes again, and says "I definitely like this. No doubt about it." I smirk and say "Good, we're on the same page." He smiles again and I lean down once more capturing his lips on mine.

We get lost in the kiss, hands tangling in hair, and food being pushed to the side so I could prop Patton up on the counter, his legs wrapping around my hips. That is, until we hear a cough come from the doorway of the kitchen. There stood Anxiety, with Prince behind him taking photos and grinning widely. I take a step back from Patton and straighten my tie.

"We get that you're a couple, but could you take this to somewhere other than the kitchen, you know, the place where we eat." I just smirk back down at Patton whose blushing and smiling, probably from our encounter. "Leave them alone Anxiety, I've waited long enough for this day. Don't ruin their moment." I raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean you have waited for this day, Prince?" I ask. "Its been so obvious that you liked each other, it was just a matter of time before you both realized that and one of you made a move on the other." Prince shrugged nonchalantly, thinking that was the most obvious thing in the world to him. Me and Patton just blush and straighten ourselves out before continuing with dinner preparations.

As Anxiety and Roman leave the kitchen however, I lean back down and whisper to Patton "We'll continue this later." He just grins, turning around and giving me a peck on the lips, returning back to chopping up vegetables.
