Ashleys POV

I could not believe I hit Autumn again! All she was doing was kissing a boy. She's a teenage girl, but she's still my daughter and I was protecting her! We all have urges, but I can't believe I hit her again!

 I have to find her!

After I threw that boy off the bus I grabbed my leather jacket and started looking for my kid.

 Autumns POV

I ran back to the arena where the concert ended hours ago. I walked up to the stage and I walked up to the mic, thankfully the stage crew didn't clear the stage yet. I tapped the microphone and to my luck it was still on. I closed my eyes and started singing.

These times in life we try with one intention

Of learning how and when we'll die, but we can't listen

 I wished to God I'd known that I, I didn't stand a chance

Of looking back and knowing why,

 Or pain of circumstance

 You're not alone

 And we'll brave this storm.

'Carolyn', whenever times were rough I always sang this song.

 Ashleys POV

I ran back into the arena and heard singing. It was Autumn.

I walked in behind her and watched her sing to an invisible audience.

"Not trying to steal our jobs away are you?" I asked smirking. She stood there not looking at me or in my direction.

"Dad, don't come near me. I'm done with you!" she cried hopping down off the stage

"No you're not" I said grabbing her arm before she could get any farther. She tried prying my hand from around her wrist while crying and smacking my arm.

"Autumn! Stop! I know you're hurt and upset with me, I am too! I'm sorry" I picked her up against her thrashing and yelling for me to let go.

"Let go of me! Put me down!" she got free of my grip and ran out the venue doors into the darkness.

 Autumns POV

I ran out of the venue and into the back parts of the woods. I didn't know where I was nor did I care. My dad no longer exists in my life no more.

 Ashleys POV

I ran after her not knowing where she went, so I needed the extra assistance and went to get the guys.

"Autumn ran away again! This time time I can't find her! I need help!" I yelled

"Okay, chill out Ash. We'll split up and look for her" said Andy grabbing his jacket

I just hope my daughter is okay!

 Autumns POV

I was sitting in the dark cold woods crying to myself thinking that I'm going through the same hell as last year.

"He's never gonna change" I said outloud "never gonna fucking change."

Sometimes I wish I was never a rock star's daughter. My mom just had to go and sleep with Ashley Purdy! "Some life!" I yelled and punched a nearby tree causing me to cry even louder.

I pulled my hand back and cradled it with the other feeling the bruising and swelling take over quickly. Ugh! Autumn you're so stupid!

 Ashleys POV

CC, Jake, and I started out aroud the areas of the tour bus and where the concert had ended several hours ago.

"I just hope she's okay you guys! She's the only thing I have left of Audrey!" I panicked

Audrey was Autumn's mother and my actual first true love. Audrey was everything I could ask for and our love was so amazing! You could say that Autumn was our "love child", but she just wasn't a child. She was my own daughter, a part of me and Audrey. It wasn't until Autumn was about five when Audrey was killed by a drunk driver.

Audrey's parents took Autumn because they said that I couldn't be responsible enough to raise a child, so I lost my daughter and my love. I didn't get Autumn back until she was eleven. My life completely changed when I got her back, I was happy, but the happiness just wasn't strong enough to fill the void from Audrey's death.

That's when the drinking started. And as the years went on, it got worse.

"Look! There she is!" pointed CC as we saw Autumn walking towards us

"Autumn!" I called running over to her and hugging her tightly

"Dad, I'm really sorry" she cried

"No, shh its okay. I'm just glad you're alright"

"Well I am, but I can't say the same for my hand" she lifted up her hand and I could tell she damaged her hand up pretty good.

"Come on we'll clean it up and put some ice on it" and we walked back to the bus.

I'm not that upset over her hand. I'm just relieved she's fine.
