"Come on honey, wake up, it's your first day at Hogwarts, time for breakfast." I woke up immediatly to my mom rubbing my arm to wake me up.
I sat straight up suddenly remembering, it's my first day at Hogwarts.
"Mom!" I exclaimed, "It's my first day at Hogwarts!"
"I know honey." My mom said through a laugh. "Now come on, your dad and I have been in the kitchen all morning making a special breakfast." She said smiling. I kissed her on the cheek and ran down stairs.
"Good morning!" I said running up and hugging my dad.
"Good morning!" My dad said hugging me back.
I laughed, "I'll set up the table!"
"Ok dear" My dad smiled, expecting me to be so excited on my first day.I had said over and over again before how I was excited to go to a real school and learn new spells and potions....learning is just how I live. I quickly used magic to set the table.
That's right, magic. I am able to do magic without a wand. My family has been astounded over and over again by what I can do, though if I do very large things it will wear me out, to where I get close to fainting.
"Dad, how did you feel on your first day?" My brother, Scorpius asked him.
"Well, I was very nervous as I know you two are, " my brother and I nodded simultaneously. " I deffinitly knew I was going to be in Slytherine," My dad smirked " But I was mostly nervous about...Harry Potter." My dad confessed. "My dad wanted me to befriend him but....well, let's just say it didn't work out too well." He said with a mixture of a smile and a grmace planted onto his face.
"Can you tell us the story again?" I asked my dad, he had told me the stories so many times before about the trouble he had gotton into as a child, about his rivalry with Harry Potter, he even told us about almost murdering Professor Dumbledore.
"Well, which one would you like to hear?" My father asked
My brother and I looked at eachother and nodded.
" The end, how you chose to go with Grandma and Grandpa." I said, a bit warrily. My dad never went into the details of those stories, the dark war.
"I was...badly influenced. I was doing it, to save myself instead of the school. To make my parents feel happy."
"You've said that a million times Dad!" My brother and I pleaded.
"I know and....one day you will understand why....today is just not that day."
"Okay." I whispered
"Anyways kiddos!" My dad said obviously trying to change the subject. "We have a special breakfast, a special day, what else do we need?"
"Um, a special breath mint." I said through giggles, "Scorpius' breath smells like garbage." I said smiling and making a stink face. I was trying to help my dad change the subject
"Hey!" Scorpius exclaimed and we both ran into a fit of giggles.
"Ok dears, now here is what we have for breakfast," My mom said walking into the room. "We have....green apples, " My dad's favorite fruit, "Strawberries, " My mom said grinning, her favorite fruit, " Pinapple" Scorpius, "and of course clemintines" My mom said grinning, clementine's are by far my most favorite fruit, but we can never get them here, always out of season. I smiled widely.
"And," My dad said taking over " We have some chocolate chip waffles and chocolate milk!" The whole family made a satisfied "Mmmm" sound.
"Dig in!" My parents said together.
We ate our delicious meal, I had a bit of everything, some sliced green apple, a bit of pine apple, Strawberries on my waffles and then a ton of clemintine to the side.
"Thanks you mom and dad." I said simply taking a bite of waffle.
"Your welcome dear." They said smiling.
"So, who are the teachers at Hogwarts?" My brother and I asked at the same time, we started to laugh.
" Well Proffesor McGonagall is Head master, and don't worry dear," My dad said to me " She has been notified of your ability to not use a wand" my dad winked at me. "Neville LongBottom is Herbology teacher, Hagrid is still gate keeper and magical creatures proffesor," Isn't that where the Hippogriff scratched you" Scorpius asked curiously, "Yes, but I really over reacted and honestly feel a bit bad I put the bird through so much trouble." Dad said smiling.
"Other than that, we don't really know the rest of the teachers or proffesors." My father concluded.
Once we had all finished breakfast we got dressed and ready. I wore a simple green shirt with ruffles at the collar that made my pale Malfoy eyes stand out and the some navy jeans. I put my hair into a faux braid, tucking the blonde locks behind my ear.
I got out the heart necklace my dad got me for my 10th birthday, my lucky necklace, and I knew for a fact I would need it.
I put on some gray tennis shoes and ran down to the living room. I sat on the couch and waited for everyone else to come.
" You nervous?" I heard my dad question, concern in his voice. Though my dad made many mistakes in the past, at least I know he is one of the kindest men you will ever meet.
"Yeah," I said thinking about all the things that could go wrong, " What if I don't get into Slytherin, You were so sure about what house you would be in, and what if nobody wants to be my friend. Just like always." I said, looking at my hands as if they were the most fascinating thing in the World.
"Honey, regardless what house you get put in, your mother and I, we will always love you and treat you the same. Okay? All we want for you is to be happy, and know you are loved by the both of us no matter what." My dad gave me a kiss on the fore head, I immediatly returned it with a large embrace.
"Okay... But no matter what, I am not going to seat in the same car on the train as Scorpius if one of his annoying friends come." I said smiling.
"Hey, my friends are awesome thank you very much."
"Sure, Scorpius." I replied to my brother who had just entered the room.
"So are we ready to go?" My mother asked, taking the last bite of a strawberry.
"As ready as I'll ever be" I replied
Next thing I knew I was at platform 9 3/4....

So new story! Who is excited about this! I am! I've had this idea longer than you guys could imagine so I hope everyone loves it!
