It was a quiet day at Havenfield. Sophie was lounging on the couch in the living room listening to Alden and Grady talking about politics and trying to read her book.

Sophie was just about to open the book when her computer buzzed with a notification.
You have received a message from Fitz on Hangouts.
Sophie felt the familiar butterflies in her stomach, mixed with a little bit of worry. She couldn't get the incident out of her head. Her and Biana talking about her crush on Fitz and him logging on.
Oh well. Sophie logged in anyways.
Private messaging with Fitz:
Fitz: Hey Sophie?
Sophie: Hey what's up
Fitz: I haven't seen you around at school that much lately...
Sophie: Er I guess I've been kinda busy.
Lie. She'd just tried to avoid any awkward conversations...
Fitz: Can I talk to you about the other day?
Sophie winced. She looked over her shoulder to make sure no one was looking, then typed.
Sophie: I guess.
Sophie: I'm sorry
Fitz: Why would you be sorry?
Sophie: I shouldn't have said that...
Fitz: That's alright
Fitz: It just made asking you out a lot easier.
Sophie gasped so loud so got hiccups. Alden and Grady looked up concerned.
"I-I'm fine," she managed.
She looked down at the screen to see a new message.
Fitz: Saturday at 7, okay?
