~TIME SKIP TO ONE WEEK LATER~
'We're gonna be parents' I thought happily as I placed my hands on my stomach. "Kitten?" Corvus chirped as he walked in to the room, returning me to the world around me. "Yes, love?" I replied. "Lost in thought again?" he asked with a chuckle. "Yeah. I still can't believe we're going to be parents" I said with a smile. "Let's go for a walk today and get some fresh air" Corvus suggested. "That sounds wonderful!" I agreed excitedly, which made him chuckle. "You're so adorable" he said with a smile as he held my hand and started walking out of the castle with me. We avoided father art all costs. 'He can't know about anything until we get married' I thought a bit worriedly.
We walked through the streets together, heading to a small park-like clearing. "Remember our second date? We came right to this spot and had a picnic" Corvus said as we sat on a blanket he had brought with us. He held me close as I sat in front of him, laying my head back on his chest. "I definitely do. You packed one spicy sandwich in the bunch of savory ones as a joke like a roulette. I didn't know about it, so I ended up with it" I said with a fake pout. He nuzzled his head into my neck gently. "I'm still sorry about that Kitten. But we had a big laugh afterwards" he reminded me, which made me giggle. "What does the human world look like?" I asked curiously. "Hmm...well, it's a lot cooler in temperature and has a bit more color to it. But the humans can be irritating" Corvus explained. "Let's get married there" I suggested. "What? You really want to get married there?" he questioned, not sounding very happy about it. "If not there, then where? We've been all over Hell and nothing really ever changes..." I asked, hiding my disappointment behind the question. "I'm not sure...we could get married at the castle. That way everyone can come to the ceremony" he suggested matter-of-factly. "Alright. We'll have the official ceremony at the castle, then we can have a personal ceremony in the human world, deal?" I reasoned with him. "Hmm...deal" he agreed with a smile. I tackled him with a hug and a kiss.
~TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY GET BACK~
We walked in while happily holding each others hand, not really paying attention to who was around us. "Hello Catulus. Corvus" my mother greeted as we walked through the door. "O- oh, hi mom" I greeted back. "Good evening, your majesty" Corvus greeted with a slight bow. "No need for such formalities, Corvus. You're going to be my son-in-law in two months, after all" my mother chuckled. "Just call me Persephone" she said with a smile. "My apologies, Persephone" he said with a smile. We all laughed slightly before my mother spoke up. "It's getting quite late. You two should get some rest" she said. "Alright, mom, good night" "Good night, Persephone" we both said before going to our room.
"I'm going to take a bath" I told my fiancè as I walked into the bathroom. He sneakily walked in behind me. "Mind if I join you?" he inquired as he gently wrapped his arms around me. "Hehe, not at all, but it might be a bit cramped" I warned him. "The closer, the better, Kitten" he cooed as he kissed my cheek, making me smile as I turn on the tap. I waited for the water to warm up a bit before plugging the drain. We were both naked as we waited for the tub to fill up, admiring each others bodies.
The tub filled up quickly so I turned off the tap. Corvus got in first, since he was taller. I got in soon after, sitting on his lap as we enjoy the warmth of each other and the water. We had added in scented bubble bath before we got in, so it smelled of soothing lavender. "Mmm when was the last time we had a bath together like this?" I asked as I relaxed. "Too long, my love" he replied as he held me closer, enabling me to hear his heartbeat. Demons don't usually have heartbeats, but there is an exception when they are with the one they love. It made me happy knowing that I was the only one who could hear it. 'Everything is perfect' I thought with a soft smile, starting to hello a little drowsy from the scents and the relaxing warmth surrounding me. Corvus chuckled softly and lifted me out of the tub gently. We both quickly dried ourselves off before unplugging the tub and sliding into bed. We cuddled together closely as we fell into a peaceful slumber.
