Jimin nervously opened his front door, rapidly being bombarded by Tae and Jungkook as they ran through his house. "Hi, Mrs Park!" they both smiled before dashing upstairs. "Such lively characters, go on, go and join them! I'll bring up some snacks in a while" she smiled, nudging Jimin up the stairs.
"You guys really didn't have to come, we're just going bowling" Jimin sighed. Why couldn't he just be left alone to get ready for the date he was already so nervous for? "Of course we did! We're here to help! Plus, I wanted to borrow some jeans for my date with Hoseok" Tae giggled, already stripping off his sweatpants to take the pair of black, skinny-ripped jeans. He'd worn them so much that he may as well call them his own by this point.
"Are you going on a date with Lisa too?" Jimin asked Jungkook, who was too preoccupied with texting said person. "Huh? Oh no... she came over to mine yesterday" he grinned slightly. "WHAAAAAT?! Why didn't you tell us?!" Tae whined, slapping Jungkook's shoulder, "Because you make a big deal out of everything! We just watched a movie..." he smiled to himself. And, as expected, Jimin and Tae both gestured for him to continue - as if they knew there was more to tell. "In my bed..." he grinned, "Yessss Jungkookie is becoming a man!" Jimin cheered, high-fiving him at the same time.
"We didn't do anything, my parents were home, guys" he rolled his eyes, making Jimin giggle. "Alright, alright, considering you decided to come anyways, at least help me choose what to wear" Jimin smiled, shaking his head. They were both a pain in the ass but at least they provided some use.
-
"Are you sure this is smart enough for bowling?" Jimin ran his hands through his hair once more, glancing at himself in the mirror.
Tae and Jungkook had had an equal share in dressing him up. He was wearing a pair of simple but tight fitting blue jeans alongside a thin pink sweater, since the weather was beginning to get warmer, as well as a pair of simple sneakers on his feet.
"You look so cute, but those jeans make your ass pop so you look hot too" Tae stated nonchalantly, warming up the pair of straighteners Jimin had in his room. "Now, let Jungkook neaten out your hair and I'll do your makeup" he smiled, laughing as Jimin stopped as still as a statue.
"Makeup?" "Yes! I'll only do a little bit, I brought my smallest makeup bag, trust me he'll love it!" Tae giggled, pulling Jimin over to his bed so that he could pretty-up his face.
-
"Are you sure this is subtle?" Jimin asked, it seemed like Tae was piling products onto his face. "Trust me, you look so pretty" he smiled, proud of his work.
"Here you go guys, I brought some potato chips and-" Jimin's mother stopped in her tracks as she glanced over the room; Jungkook fluffing up Jimin's hair with the curved hair straighteners, Tae in front of him with mascara in his hand, and a sheepish Jimin in the middle of it all. "So... enjoy" she laughed, placing the tray of food down onto Jimin's bedside table. "Well... ready to go?" Tae sheepishly grinned.
"I'll be back later, Omma" Jimin called loudly, dashing out of the door so that she wouldn't notice he still had the makeup on. "Have fun, sweetie" she smiled, leaning against the front door as she saw him run off to a car parked outside, Yoongi stepping out of the car to greet Jimin. "Don't worry, I'll bring him back in one piece, Mrs Park!" Yoongi pretty much yelled from outside the house, waving politely as he opened the car door for Jimin. His mother simply smiled, looking forward to teasing her son about his (literal) little boyfriend.
"So... you any good at bowling?" Yoongi asked once he began driving, of course he'd borrowed his parents' car but he'd never let that slip past his lips. "Actually... I haven't bowled in years... but it seemed like fun, so" he smiled, fidgeting in his seat slightly. Noticing Jimin's slight hesitation, he brought one hand over and grasped Jimin's much smaller one with it. "Look I know you're nervous... just relax okay? We're going to have a fun afternoon" he beamed with a gummy grin, pulling into the parking lot as they gradually approached it.
