"I'm sure he's just busy, hyung" Taehyung frowned, stroking his friend's hair in order to calm him down. "It's been nearly a week, Tae. I can't stop worrying incase- you know..." Jimin sighed, rubbing at his forehead in distress.
"Shut the fuck up, he's older than you, why would he stop talking to you just because you two made out?"."I don't know... maybe his parents got mad because of his hickeys..." Jimin shrugged, kicking his leg out exasperatedly as he crashed onto his bed. "Look, maybe he's just being a bit moody lately, on his man period, I'm sure he'll message you soon" Tae smiled, nudging the elder. "Now cheer up or I will tickle you!".

After their heated make-out session that fateful morning (which Jimin referred to as solid proof he must've done something amazing in his past life), said boy had grown afraid that he had been too forward with Yoongi, since the boy hadn't hung out with him or even messaged him since.
It wasn't as if Jimin needed all of his time, but he knew Yoongi wasn't a very busy person, so the thought of him possibly ignoring him on purpose tore at his heart strings.
-
"You should treat yourself, Jiminnie! Let's go outside, you'll just end up more depressed by moping around in your bedroom" Tae suggested, pulling him up by his arm. "I guess you're right" "Let's go to the movies? Or grab something good to eat?" he offered whilst rummaging through his wardrobe. "Alright... but what are you doing?" Jimin groaned, eyes transfixed on Tae's wandering hands. "Finding myself some decent clothes to wear!" he chuckled.
After Tae was finally satisfied that his outfit protruded his ass out perfectly for hungry eyes to drool over, the two made their way down the street, casually wandering around whilst looking for a place they fancied eating at. "Pizza?" "We had that the other day though" Jimin whined.
The one thing that Tae didn't like about Jimin was the baby-ish behaviour he'd inhibit whenever things didn't go his way. To some it was endearing, to see a grown teenager with some childish tendencies, but to Taehyung? It was a pain in the ass.
"What about street food then? There's a stall over there" Tae pointed, his own mouth watering at the scent diffusing down the busy street. "If you want... I'm not really hungry though" Jimin kicked his shoes as he shuffled along, his gaze unfocused on the asphalt ground below.
"I swear to God, it's summer! You need to cheer the fuck up, you're worth more than waiting for a text from some hot guy, Jimin! Now, I want you to treat yourself" he stated matter-of-factly, lumbering the self-pitying male over to the food stall with him.
The two ate their hot food at a reasonably fast pace; the younger of the pair in a hurry to pull Jimin into his favourite clothes store on the high street. "You deserve to spend on yourself, so go buy that shirt you kept nagging me about. I'm not going to buy it for you as your Christmas gift no matter how much you beg!" Tae chuckled, pushing Jimin forward.
He then waited patiently as Jimin tried on the piece, ensuring it "Fits nice and snug without making me look fat"; though he couldn't find any reason to complain at the look of it. The red and black stripes accentuated his jet black hair, at the same time drawing attention to his lean figure. To say Jimin was impressed with how he looked would be an understatement, as he almost walked out of the changing cubicle shirtless, in such a hurry to buy the shirt.
"I feel a bit bad because it was expensive... and it looks a little plain, does it look branded to you?" Jimin asked, opening his plastic carrier bag for Tae to peer into. "I promise you it looks incredible, now enjoy it!" he laughed whilst ruffling his hyung's hair.
Interrupting the sweet moment, Tae had looked to his left to check the road before crossing, only to take a double glance once he recognised the figure of a certain short Min Yoongi.
"Uh... why don't we carry on this way?" he smiled awkwardly, not wanting to tell Jimin the truth. He knew he shouldn't have lied but he only wanted the best for Jimin. Though a mere few seconds later, Jimin had already spotted Yoongi anyway. "Shall we go over?" Jimin asked timidly, a little nervous to face Yoongi incase he was mad at him for whatever reason.
Though what he saw completely put him off the idea.
Yoongi was in the process of opening what seemed like a little box, he also had a man next to him who Jimin didn't quite recognise but they were both laughing together. A frown suddenly fell upon the younger's face as the two boys linked hands, quickly breaking apart as the unrecognised boy burst into a fit of giggles.
Yoongi then hit his shoulder - no surprise there from his usual demeanor - before taking his hand again. They seemed to exchange a few words before Yoongi slipped something into his hand. Was that... a ring?
"Don't jump to conclusions, Tae! That's Namjoon... right? The one you set up with Jin remember? They're just friends..." Jimin said reassuringly once Tae's face distinctively flared up with anger - though it seemed like he was trying to convince himself more than anyone.
"Come on, Jiminnie. You deserve better than that scumbag! And to think, they could both be cheating on someone... He doesn't get to have my best friend" Tae frowned, tugging Jimin's arm to pull him back towards his house despite his protests. Despite his friend's reassuring, and clearly caring tone, Jimin left the street with not only a new shirt, but also a heavier heart.
