Chapter 33 All In This Together

Beep. Beep.

I was parked outside the Cullen's house waiting for them to come out for school. I had teleported here so I could get here early enough to not be late for school. Alice and Edward came out the door with Esme and Carlisle following them. I teleported in front of them and gave them a big hug.

"Have a good day at school dear" Esme wished me luck as I got in my car.

"Nice car" Edward compliments before getting in the passenger seat with Alice in the back.

"Thanks, she is my baby" I reply as I rub her leather seat before taking off down the driveway again. The drive to school was short and silent. I held Edward's hand the whole way and just listened to the radio.

As soon as we arrived at school, everyone yet again stared at the car. As Alice and Edward emerged, their faces turned to shock. Edward opened my door for me and immediately offered me his hand. He pulled me out of the car and into his arms. He planted a sweet kiss on my forehead before he grabbed my waist in one hand and started walking towards the office to reclaim his old schedule.

"Wait here" he requests before going in to deal with the paperwork and grab his timetable.

"What are they doing back?" Mike was all of a sudden in my face.

"They moved back because Carlisle liked the job here. Why are you so concerned?" I asked as my eyebrows furrowed. I had gotten good a lying for the Cullen's, although I didn't like doing it.

"You aren't seriously going to forgive him that easily are you?" Mike questioned. He made it sound like it was a ridiculous thing to do.

"I love him Mike. He had no choice when he moved away and he dumped me to protect me from the distance. In fact he pushed his family to return here, where they are happy. Now please stop with the questions. I am with Edward and I hope it stays that way until I die" I reply with an annoyed grimace. I felt Edward come up and wrap his arm around my waist.

"Is there a problem?" Edward queried as he saw the look on my face and most likely heard the entire conversation.

"No, Mike was just leaving" I state with a pointed glare. Mike gave me one last shake of his head before walking off into the buildings of Forks High School.

"Still have that crush on you?"

"Unfortunately" I replied with a frown. Edward rubbed my back in soothing circles before leading me to our first class.

I heard the seat next to me scrape against the floor and looked up. I was currently in the cafeteria eating lunch with Alice, Edward and Angela. The person sat down and smiled at the group.

"Hello. What is your name?" I asked in a welcoming tone. The girl had brown straight hair at shoulder length with bangs and was wearing sunglasses. She moved the glasses down to her nose.

"Guess who?"

"Tay?" I asked "is that you?"

"Mmmhmm" she replied. I got up and hugged her excitedly. Angela came and joined along with Alice.

"You made it" I state in happiness.

"I didn't wanna miss you getting a record deal" she exclaimed confidently.

"What if I don't?"

"Whether you get the deal or not you are coming to be my opening act on tour anyway. Then if you haven't already got the deal you definetly will by the end" She offered. I smiled widely and hugged Taylor tightly. I felt tears of happiness fall from my eyes.
