Chapter 23- Karaoke Night
I exited the flashy car and linked arms with Alice as we made our path to the entrance of the mall with Jane and Alec flanking us. The mall was big and looked like it held numerous shops and restaurants. My stomach growled thinking about food and I realised I didn't have lunch or breakfast.
"Better feed your inner monster there Izzy" Alice said using my nickname which earned confused stares from Jane and Alec. I blushed slightly and laughed nodding wholeheartedly in agreement.
"I really want Pizza" I complained to the pixie. Alice grinned and started pulling me in what I assumed was the direction of a pizza place. Once we reached our destination I saw a Italian restaurant with a sign that read 'Karaoke Night' out the front. I glanced at Alice suspiciously knowing why she chose this particular restaurant.
"Oh look Bella! What a coincidence! It's karaoke night, why don't you sing a song or two" Alice said with a cheeky grin. I glared playfully at the pixie knowing that she set this up.
Stupid Future Seeing Pixie
I sighed and nodded giving in as a waiter showed us to a table for four. I sat down and picked up the song menu that the waiter gave us. I glanced over the long list of music and decided which song I was going to perform for the small crowd. I told Alice my food preference incase the waiter came by when I was on stage. I strut up to the DJ next to the stage and he handed me a microphone and I told him which song I would like. He started looking for the song on his laptop and nodded signaling he had it prepared. I walked on stage and brought the mic to my lips as I glanced at Alice to see she was recording me on my phone and Jane on her phone. I slightly shook my head before taking a deep breath.
"Hey guys, I'm Bella and I'll be singing Warrior by Demi Lovato" I said as I nodded at the DJ to start the music.
"This is a story that I have never told
I gotta get this off my chest to let it go
I need to take back the light inside you stole

And you steal like you're a pro
