:(Chapter 20- Arival
I entered the large castle with Alice and Renae beside me and Rosalie and Emmett trailing behind. The sun was rising over the town of Volterra, Italy. It was the day before the grand ball and we somehow convinced Charlie to let us have a "holiday" in Italy. If only he knew how dangerous this trip could turn out to be. I looked towards the gates as I heard footsteps approach.
"I see you brought another witch along master Aro will be pleased Cullens. Where is the rest of your clan?" Jane's taunting voice rang through the hallway as she signaled us to follow.
"We have recently split temporarily due to issues" Rosalie answered not giving to much away.
"Pity" Jane said in fake concern. We continued to make our way down the long tunnel. I shivered as the cold air brushed against my exposed skin. I instantly wished for a jacket, I felt the clothing item appear on my arm and rushed to put the article of clothing on Alice smiled beside me and shook her head.
"Where will we be staying Jane?" Alice asked breaking the silence. We all looked towards the small blonde figure for answers, curious ourselves.
"In the guest rooms, there are others already there" she explained in an emotionless voice but managing to still have the voice of an angel.
"This way" she said signaling us to an elevator. We all stepped in and Jane immediately followed. We all waited patiently for the lift to end, listening to the soft opera music sounding from the small speaker above. A small ding indicated that the lift was over and we proceeded to follow Jane coming into a small lobby.
"Good Morning Signora Jane" a young human woman greeted her behind the front desk, smiling brightly.
"Greta" Jane nodded her greeting towards the woman with a small smile.
"Felix open the doors" Jane commanded as we made our way to two enormous wooden doors. The doors immediately opened and our group stepped through into the room on the other side.
I was amazed at how appointed this space was. The room was very big and some Sunlight Rays were seeping through the huge dome window above us. The circular room had a high ceiling with ancient designs, long poles made an inner circle around the room supporting the structured roof. There was marble flooring and steps that lead up to three beautifully designed thrones, each one holding a figure. I stared at the beautiful creatures that sat on these thrones and instantly recognized them as Aro, Marcus and Caius the gods from the painting in Carlisle's office. Jane bowed her head and looked at the three rulers.
"This is the witch I was informing you of Master she has bought a friend of hers along. They are with half of the Cullen clan, as the other half could not join us" She explained to the middle man with Black shoulder length hair and red eyes who I assumed was Aro. He nodded smiling at the blonde before casting his eyes on our group. I glanced at the other two figures, who I am assuming are Marcus with the long dark brown hair and Caius with the shoulder length blonde almost white hair.
"Where are the other Cullens?" He asked out of curiosity. I took a small step forward and took a breathe.
"We have recently split ways with the others of the Cullen clan as some issues have arisen that need to be faced before the reunion of this clan" I explained the current circumstances.
