Chapter thirteen

Natsu's P.O.V

Damn snow moves fast. After school my dad, Igneel, made me shovel the snow from the driveway. Unlucky for me, it's freezing, my driveway is huge, and I still have to set up the party. As I shoveled the last bit of snow a snowball hit me in the face. I looked behind me and saw all my siblings smirking with snowballs. My little sister, Wendy, who had long dark blue hair and eyes like Luce's, my older brother, Cobra, who has a scar over his eye and spiky hair, Cobra's just a nickname his real name is Erik, and finally, my other older brother, Zeref, who has jet black hair and is dating the freaking vice principle of Magnolia high, well the Fairy tail part that is. "Guys, this seems unfair." I said. Wendy nodded and ran to my side. "Betrayal." Cobra and Zeref said fake offended. "Sorry but Natsu-nii is my favorite brother."

"Boom!" I yelled and made a snowball. Then we got into a snowball fight. I threw one at Zeref and t hit in in the face. We laughed, jumped, and got covered in snow. Finally Wendy and I tackled them into the pile of snow I made from shoveling. We laughed and rolled off the pile. "Natsu." We all turned our heads. Lucy was standing at the gate with a small smirk. She had on white ears muffs, white gloves, a pink winter coat with white fur for the outlines, boots, and she was holding a container of cupcakes. "Hey, Luce. What brings ya?" I asked. "Gray called me saying that I should come over and help you get the party ready." She explained while walking over. "Seems I came over at a bad time?" Lucy asked. I shook my head and stood up.

"Who is she?" Wendy asked. "I'm Lucy, Natsu friend." Lucy said and got in her knees. "I'm Wendy, Natsu's little sister. It's nice to meet you." Wendy said. Then she ran inside because she was getting cold. "I'm Erik but you can call me Cobra." Cobra said. Lucy nodded. "I'm Zeref." Zeref said and was the only one to shake hands with Lucy. We all walked inside where our parents were talking. "Natsu, who is this young lady?" My step mom, Grandine, asked. You see, my real mom gave birth to me and my brothers but died. My dad met Grandine who was raising Wendy as a baby and married her. "Lucy, sir." Lucy said with a smile. "Nice to meet you Lucy, I'm Igneel and this is my wife Grandine." Grandine shook Lucy's hand. "It's nice to meet you." After some small talk, Lucy and I went to my room where I kept all the decorations.

"You have a large room." Lucy said in awe. I had a huge bed, a flat screen TV, an Xbox, a large closet, a even bigger bathroom connected, and my cat, Happy. "He's so cute." Lucy said. Happy mowed and jumped it Lucy's arms. Lucy and I decided on some stuff then she looked around my room. "There's a date on this one." She said. I walked over and saw a picture of me and Gray. I was in a red vest, a black tank top, skinny jeans, and high tops and he was in a blue dress shirt for some reason, jeans, and converse. "That was the date we first said I love you.

It was our sixth date and we were officially dating. We went to dinner and were walking in the park at night. Our hands were interlocked. I was really nervous because I had liked Gray for about six years. "Natsu." I was snapped out of my nervous thoughts when Gray stopped walking. When I looked over at him, he kissed me on the lips. It was a perfect mix of passionate and sweet. When we broke apart he said those three little words.

I love you." I said with a smile. Lucy was smiling, too. "That's so sweet. What about this one?" She asked and grabbed a picture of Levy and I with weird faces. I laughed. "We were in middle school, Levy and I were the best of friends. Gray was the one who actually introduced us. So there was a school fair and there was a photographer. Levy and I took the picture and we've been the best of friends ever since. She was the first one to find out I liked Gray. What about you? Have you ever met someone like that?" I asked. Lucy smiled. "Yeah, when I was, y'know," I nodded. Alive is what she means if any of you readers didn't get it. "Her name was Luna, she had hair just like yours but to her waist. We were great friends, she was my maid of honor. She wasn't just a friend, she was a sister."

"Well that's just sweet." The two of us jumped. We turned around and saw Levy and Gray smirking at us. "How long have you been there?!" I yelled. "When did he start talking about me?" Gray asked. "You mean like five minutes ago?" I asked and they nodded. "Come on, let's set up. Zeref is with his girlfriend, your parents are having date night, too, and Cobra is with Midnight." Gray said. "And Wendy?" Lucy asked. "She's fine." Levy said. We set up for one hour and finished just in time. The doorbell rang. I opened the door to seen Mira, Erza, Laxus, and Freed. "Hey." I let them in quickly so they didn't get frostbite. It was 8:30 so the cold was unbearable. It was also dark. Mira cooked so much delicious food! A few minutes later Sting and Rogue showed up. Their friend Yukino was also with them, so was Rogue's sister, Minerva. "Minerva, Yukino, this is Lucy." I said. The three quickly became friends. The doorbell rang once again. Mira and I opened the door. Juvia, Lisanna, and Meredy came inside. "Is that everybody?" I asked.

"Yep." Mira answered. We played some music, a mix of everything, and talked. I was sitting on the couch with Gray when Levy suggested a game. "How about truth or dare?" We all agreed, it sounded fun. We all got into a circle and started the game. We had our own version. Spin a bottle, whoever it lands on decided truth or dare, if they refuse they take a shot of vodka. I spun the bottle and it landed on Rogue. "Truth." He said. He thinks this is gonna be all fun and games? Fuck no! "Are you still a virgin?" Rogue blushed. "No." We all looked at Sting. "You aren't innocent either, Natsu, Gray!" 

"This is true." Rogue spun the bottle that landed on Lisanna. "Dare." She said. "I dare you to call Moon and tell her how you feel." For your information, Moon is Rogue's twin sister who Lisanna has a massive crush on. Lisanna pulled out her phone and did the deed. "What happened?" Levy asked. "She fainted, then when she woke up she told me she liked me back." We all cheered, even Lucy who we had to tell her who Moon was. Lisanna spun the bottle and it pointed at Lucy. "Um...truth."

"Who do you like?" 

"I'd rather not say." Lucy said with a deep blush. Levy looked a little disappointed. "Then take the shot!" We all yelled. "Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot!" We chanted. Lucy quickly downed the shot of vodka. "Ew." She said. "Natsu-nii?" I turned around and saw Wendy looking at me with a blank face. "Seriously?" We all panicked. "I'll buy you three pounds of candy!" I yelled Yes, I am bribing a twelve year old to not tell my parents I just made my friend take a shot of vodka. "Two pounds, and one necklace." 

"One pound, one necklace, and you get my Xbox for an entire school week." 

"Deal!" Wendy and I shook hands and she ran back upstairs. The game continued and the party ended in all of us falling asleep in some embarrassing position with someone. Mira fell asleep with Erza spooning her on the love seat, Rogue was digging his face in Sting's chest on the couch, Freed was straight up on top of Laxus on the floor, Juvia and Meredy were just cuddling, Yukino, Lisanna, and Minerva had the common sense to leave, and finally, Lucy's head was in Levy's lap as Lev slept against the wall. "So should we sleep with them or in your bed?" Gray asked as he wrapped his arms around me from the behind. "Upstairs." I said. We walked upstairs and got into my bed. Gray wrapped his arms around me and pulled my close. I smiled. "Is there a reason I'm always the little spoon?" I teased. I already knew what he was going to say. "Because you're shorter." I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep. "I love you, Natsu."

"I love you, too, Gray."
