Chapter twelve

Levy's P.O.V

I just walked out of the bathroom when I heard a scream. "Levy!"

"Lucy?" I looked around and ran towards the auditorium. I tried to open the main door but it was locked. I ran to the other side and burst through the doors. I saw Lucy crying as Gajeel tried to take her bra off. "What the fuck?!" I yelled they both looked at me. Lucy face brightened. "Levy!" She yelled with a smile. "What's going on?" I asked slowly. "Gajeel tried to rape me." Lucy said and Gajeel looked at her. "That's not true! Shrimp, who are you going to believe?" I looked at Lucy and then Gajeel. Lucy had a panicked look but Gajeel had a very calm face. "Ga-"

"Levy-chan!"

"You're my best friend."

"Where are my manners? I'm Lucy Heartfilia, but most people know me as the ghost bride."

Everything. Her smile, her energy, her love, her warmth, the way she made me feel. Everything. I let one fight, one fight, get in the way of my love for her. I let my mind rule my heart. "Lucy." I said. Lucy smiled at me with tearful eyes. Gajeel ran away like a coward and I helped Lucy get her shirt back on. We sat at the edge of the stage in silence. "Thank you, Levy." I nodded. "Why'd you help me?" Lucy asked. I gasped a little. My lips quivered and tears rolled down my cheeks. "I'm sorry!" I yelled. I bear hugged Lucy. She hugged me back and started crying, too. "It was all your choice! I should've supported you!" I sobbed. "No, no! You were right this wasn't smart! I should've just stayed a ghost." The two of us balled in each others grasp until we heard footsteps. "Levy! Lucy!" Erza yelled. Suddenly the locked door was kicked off its hinges.

Erza, Mira, Juvia, Sting, Rogue, Natsu, Gray, and Lisanna all ran in. "Oh thank god!" Mira yelled. "You made up!" She screamed triumphantly. I wiped my tears quickly. "What happened?" Laxus asked. "Gajeel, he tried to rape Lucy." Eye one's eyes widened. "Awe hell no!" Erza yelled. "Let's kill the bastard!" Mira yelled. Natsu, Gray, Sting, Lisanna, and Juvia followed as they marched. Lucy laughed loudly. They stopped and looked at her. "Guys, calm down." She said. "How?!" Natsu and Gray yelled. When Lucy stopped laughing she smiled at everyone. "I need to tell all of you something." Lucy stood up. "The truth is, and I know this isn't really plausible, but I'm the ghost bride." Everyone fell silent. "I told you!" Natsu yelled.

"You knew?!" Me and Lucy yelled. "No, but I had suspicions." Everyone else was having a hard time processing this information. "You're a ghost? But we can see you, we can touch you." Lisanna said. "Let me explain. Levy's ancestor is my ex-fiancee, Johnson, so I am her ghost. I cannot move on until she is wed, but I went through a ritual that allowed me to come back for nine months. I now have eight months left, when my time is up, June 30th, I will disappear. That's what Levy and I were fighting about." I sadly looked at the ground. "Y-you're gonna leave in June?" Juvia asked with teary eyes. Lucy nodded. "B-but I wouldn't have done it, if I knew I would meet all of you. I had so much fun in just three months, more than when I actually existed. I love Magnolia, I love Fairy tail, I love all of you. I-I don't wanna leave."

Now almost all of us were crying. "Lucy!" All the girls screamed and tackled Lucy in a hug. "We're going to make your last eight months amazing, we promise!" They yelled. "Yeah!" Natsu yelled. "We still have so many things to do together, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, you still have to come to our house's, have parties, all of that crap!" Sting said. We all decided to skip the rest of the party to play some games and talk in the auditorium. "So when we were getting harassed that was you?" Juvia yelled. Lucy nodded. "Cool."

"We should have a party, we can invite some other people but other than that I'd just be us." Gray said. "Where would we have it?" I asked. "How about Natsu's? He is rich and his family loves us." Sting suggested. "Yeah, my parents would like you Luce, trust us." Lucy smiled. "Okay! When should we have it?" She asked. "Too bad it's Tuesday, how about Friday?" Mira asked. We all nodded. "Okay, now I have to ask, Lucy now that you're in 2017, are you still straight?" Erza asked. We all looked at Lucy with sly eyes. She blushed. "W-well, V-Virgo is p-pansexual. After a while I-I realized that I am, too."

"So you and Levy could be a thing!" Juvia said in a ah-ha voice. Me and Lucy blushed. "I-I don;t know about t-that." We said nervously. "You two are already speaking in unison!" Mira squealed. Our blushes deepened. "Stop it." We said. "Stop taking at the same time as me!" We whined. "Stop!" This went on for a while. Then everyone started laughing. "Rose!"

"Rainbow!"

"Chocolate!"

"Gratsu!"

"Stingue!"

"Fraxus!"

"What the hell?!" After 50 tries, we finally said something different. "Gale/Gajeevy!"

"Finally!" Rogue yelled. We all laughed. "Attention students, the Halloween party has ended. Please make your ways back to the parking lot." Makarov announced. We all stood up and left. "That was fun." I said. Lucy and I were walking together with smiles. "Yep" Then a snowflake landed on Lucy's nose. "Look at that, snowing already." I smiled. "Well, see you tomorrow." I smiled and waved goodbye. "Bye, Levy-chan." Just hearing her put the chan at the end makes me smile. "Goodbye...Lu-chan."
