Levy's P.O.V
"Happy Thanksgiving, Lu-chan." I said after knocking on Lucy's bedroom door. Today is Thursday and we're on Thanksgiving break. Thanksgiving break starts on Monday, the 20th, and ends on another Monday, the 27th. It's now 10:00 am and Lucy still hasn't woken up. A small yawn came from the inside of her room. "Okay, I'll be out soon." I nodded even though she can't see me. I walked downstairs to relax. We don't need to start cooking until like 4:00 and then we won't eat until 6:00. "Okay!" Lucy yelled. I turned around to look at her outfit. She was wearing a red plaid shirt, jeans, converse, a couple bracelets, and a beanie. I was in a black, long sleeved shirt with a butterfly on it, jeggings, black boots, and a blue headband. "We have a few hours before everyone shows up to help." Lucy and I used that time to clean up. Because we may seem nice and clean, but in reality, we're slobs. Paper everywhere, pencil dust all over the island, dishes but not too many, and thousands of books stacked on the floor.
When we finally finished it was 4:08 and there was a knock on the door. We opened it to see all our friends in different outfits. They walked inside, all carrying their own type of food. Soup, chicken, pie, fruit, drinks, chili a lot of food. "Thanks for having us over." Mira smiled. "No problem." I smiled. "Where's Laxus?" Lisanna asked while hanging her coat up. "He's with Bickslow, Evergreen, and Freed." I said. "You cleaned the house!" Natsu yelled. "How'd you know it was dirty in the first place?" Gray asked. "Levy and Lucy are messy people." Everyone was in denial about that fact. But we knew, oh we knew. "Let's get cooking!" I shouted. Everyone nodded and we started cooking. Lucy and I were making pies, Natsu and Mira cooked the turkey, we all cooked. It was fun. Some pies didn't come out right, so Lucy and I threw them at Natsu and Gray. They got revenge but hugging us and rubbing out cheeks together. Everyone laughed at us.
Finally we all sat at the dinner table telling stories. "What about you, Lucy? Any stories?" Lisanna asked. She just finished telling the story about how we all went to water park and somehow almost all of us ended up on the Love-love slide where you hold your partner. It was kind of weird. Natsu and I ended up together and from another slide connected to it Gray was yelling at us. But we couldn't hear him, you see he was pushed on with Rogue so Sting was screaming bloody murder at Gray. "I don't have anything like that!" Lucy said through her laughter. "Oh, I know. My parents and I went to the neighboring town for silk when I was about fifteen. After buying all the silk we went to a library, I read nearly all the books. My mom and dad watched me the whole time with smiles on their faces. Even though I was a teenager, I acted like a four year old in a candy store."
Everyone smiled at me. "I'm going to miss you so much." Mira blurted out. She instantly covered her mouth with wide eyes. "Thanks, I'm going to miss you, too. I understand that during this time of year you tell people what you are thankful for. I'm thankful for all of you. I'm thankful for our friendship, our trust, they way you all treat me even after figuring out I'm...well, dead." Lucy laughed a little. Tears filled my eyes. "We're thankful for you, too." I said. "A toast, to us, and Lucy." Natsu said while raising his glass. "Happy Thanksgiving!" We all yelled and touched glasses. "If we made Thanksgiving this fun, just imagine Christmas." Lucy said with a smile. "That's a little far from now, but I agree."
