Chapter 3: The Rose And Thorn Academy.
"Whoa!" I screamed, shooting out of the portal, I quickly squatted my legs, but still failed to land straight up and instead landed on the grass. Professor Malfidor followed through walking out swiftly. I let out a little groan of annoyance, and stood up, wiping the dirt of my trousers.
"I did say the landing was to be rough." He taunted, I just rolled my eyes, and turned around noticing the huge castle like building, stood in the center of the mountains a few yards away.
"Whoa." My eyes shot open at the most amazing building I had ever seen.
"Welcome to the Rose and Thorn Academy." I looked over at Professor Malfidor, who held a a proud smile.
I turned back and couldn't take my eyes of the magnificent building in front of me, it was at least a seven story high building, I could feel a sensational burning feeling flying within my veins, as the magical energy supporting the towers and turrets rushed through me in every direction.
The Rose and Thorn Academy was built in a large valley area, hidden behind mountains, hiding the school from everything else. There was a beautiful crystal blue lake to the south of the main building.
We began walking through the grass, hearing the whistling wind blowing through the tree's, and made our way to the school where I could see loads of students standing out in the courtyard mostly greeting each other, whilst others made their way through the huge oak doors. I made it past the arched long bridge, admiring the little white ducks near the end of the river bed, which had a little rowing canoe boat at bottom.
I was to mesmerized at the campus to realize, a blonde guy looking in my direction speaking with the Professor.
"Professor." The blonde guy greeted, nodding his head down.
"Evelyn, this is Jasper, he will be your guidance around the school." He referred to the young male standing in front of me.
"Hello." He greeted me, with a half smile.
"I'm going to have to leave you now, but if you have any problems don't hesitate to find me and ask. I'll leave her in your capable hands Jasper. Goodbye Evelyn."" He told me, nodding a goodbye, he created a red sign in the air, and he disappeared within a blink of an eye, leaving me alone with Jasper.
"Shall we?" He gestured, still staring at me with his blue eyes shining the same colour as the lake.
"I guess." I told him shrugging, I looked up at the sky as I heard rushes of wind around the sky, observing the students in their sky on their way to school flying on their broomsticks and behind them a group of fairies landing in with such a straight posture.
Everything you read in fairytales, seemed to be coming alive in this place, I watched a girl as she created a red apple from the tree she was sitting under, passing it to the boy she sat with.
"That's Ariel..." Jasper told me, filling in the silence "She's a biokenisis."
"What's that?" I asked dumbly, he just rolled his eyes.
Sorry I don't know what a biokenisis is, we haven't all be living in a magical world.
"It means she can manipulate and control nature." He replied in a bored tone.
"My bad." I said bluntly. I looked around the campus as I noticed a girl wearing a Rose and Thorn academy cheer leading outfit, it was a red crop top, with patterns of green and red on her miniskirt. She was the whole cheer leading squad, and when I mean whole, I mean there were lots of her doing a cheer leading routine. I heard a little chuckle beside me,
