Chapter 7-I.Am.Not.Blackie

The rest of the day passed in a blur, I got home and tried to rest for awhile then went to work thanks to Jin who drove me, I'm so lucky to have my friends so now I'm resting behind the counter watching as a guy in his early twenties flirt with Jin, She's making faces and I literally had to hold my mouth from laughing but I almost choked on my laughter when I saw who walked in, The Famous but Star was absent, I mentally said thank God.

They sat on the table across me, they didn't see me but I was about to dodge when Sam yelled at me to go find out what they wanted. I sighed, so much for hiding then I took slow stride to their table and stopped and with my very calm civil tone, I asked

"Good day, what would you like to have?"

They looked up at the same time, the guys looked a bit shocked except for Damon who looked irritated so I repeated my question then Jakie smirked and said

"We are not deaf you know"

I begged my eyes not to roll but Declan was polite to ask with a mischevious smile ofcourse

"Brownie please"

I wrote that on my pad, the guys gave their orders and I asked Damon while I avoided his eyes

"And you, what would you like?"

He sighed and asked

"Are you really that poor Blackie?"

I gasped then he continued

"That you have to work two jobs"

I replied through gritted teeths

"None of your business"

Then I stormed off, so much for wanting to be polite. Then I saw Damon talking to Sam and I knew I was going to get screwed over and I did plus a pep talk on how to be nice to arrogant customers. I sulked till my shift ended. I was in such a sour mood that I left without saying bye to Jin then I took a bus to the mall. I was right on time, I tried to compose myself through the rest of the day and if for any consolation I didn't run into bimbo Star and her squad.

*The next day

Jin dropped me off in school as usual and I was walking to my next class when I saw the devil himself leaning casually on his locker, he signalled to me to come over but I didn't move an inch, I wasn't his dog and even a dog gets called by its name then he said

"Blackie are you dumb, I said come here"

I ignored him and started walking away but he dragged me back with force and my back landed on the wall ouch.

He then said "You really do like to dare people, aint that right"

A smirk playing on his lips, I was shivering but tried to conceal it then I said

"Leave me alone"

Now he had his hands on both side of my sleeves holding me up against the wall, I wasn't going to beg so I said

"I'm not looking for trouble, could you leave me alone...asswipe and I.am.not.blackie"

And with that I spat on his face, he dropped so fast on the ground that I fell on my butt, I heard him curse but I didn't waste time listening, I ran as fast as I could. Damn I was already in trouble.

I texted the girls to meet me in the bathroom and after narrating my ordeal, Hayley yelled

"Oh no you didn't, my br...."

But Jin cut her off and said

"Why the hell did you do that?" I shrugged, I sincerely don't know myself guess it was reflex.
