"Loren, wake up!" I heard my mom said from outside my door. We were all packed up and ready to move to Cali. "Come eat honey.." I wasn't sure what California was going to be like. I mean, it's all the way across the country. I got out of my bed and got ready for the day. I dressed casual.

Our flight was at 8:00 my mom woke me up at 6:00. While i was eating breakfast Luna texted in our friends group chat.
Luna: hey loren I can't wait until you get to cali bestie💓 Loren: omg yeah :) Mark: Loren I can't wait to see you😊 Luna: ooooh mark😏 Mark: Luna??! Loren: 😂 ily guys see you in 8hours🔫
Mark was always sweet. We left the house got on the plane and before we knew it we were in California. We drove to the apparent and all I felt like doing was looking out the dewy window it started raining and I loved watching the rain. Then all of a sudden I got a text.
I opened my screen to the messages Messages: Harvey: hey loren, I miss you... and I need to talk. I'm in L.A. right now, how about we meet up tomorrow? At 4:00 at the Starbucks near third street?
*I felt butterfly's in my stomach. One by one they multiplied. I didn't know why.. * Messages: Loren: yeah! what do you need to talk about?? are you okay..? *i was worried for Harvey he means a lot to me..* Harvey: yeah I'm okay I just wanna talk. :) Loren: okay. see you tomorrow💛

Im so nervous to tell her what's pounding on my chest. I don't know what she's going to say... Does a yellow heart (💛) mean we are just friends? I'm thinking this through too much.

What does he need to talk about? Ugh this is going to be on my mind all day. (Besides one other person, but you'll find about that later..😏)
"Wow! Isn't it nice honey? Loren we can decorate this exactly how we want it" "Yeah, it's great here I love it! ;)" I was so exited for a new start. I'm going to miss my friends and family back home though. "You and Luna should spend the first night in Cali here together.. That'll be fun" "Good idea mom, I'll go text her." I was exited to see Luna. Overall she's my bestfriend and I had so much to tell her.
She came over and I had to tell her at one point I could just keep this from everyone. "This steak is sooo good" Luna said. "I need to tell you something."
Luna always had my back and I knew I could trust her with this. "Yeah of course what is it?" Luna had her "listening I'm always here for you" face on. "I don't know what I'm going to do, I like Harvey and mark but I'm not to sure about either and me and Harvey are meeting at Starbucks tomorrow because he 'has something to tell me' and I'm worried. But mark..."
*ding.. ding* both our phones got a text. It was Mark. "Hey guys! I was thinking that tomorrow we could all go swimming at my place.. How about 4:00?" We both said "uh-oh" at the same time. "Luna, I need your advise."
