Chapter 3: Feelings

Hey guys so I decided to publish chapter 3 because my whole story got to 14 views. I know it's not that much, but in my last chapter I said if it got to 10. Thank you all so much. Enjoy!! Oh and also I am in the making of a chapter 4. 😅

The call was awkward. What was I supposed to say?
"Are you breaking up with me?" Those words hit me like a bus. I wanted to say so much to him all at once.

"No.. Not at all. I'm trying to get over my feelings for Mark. I promise. I don't want to breakup Harvey. Do you?" Did he? At this point I didn't know what he wanted to do.

"No I don't. Let's just forget about this. Miss you Loren. Gotta go❤️"

"He took that so well" I said to Luna sitting in the other seat. "Yeah, he did. He's sweet to you and he cares. Just have fun tonight and at the end of the party tell Mark what's Up." Luna is my bestfriend and I trust her decisions. We arrived to marks house. I saw a few cars outside. My stomach felt like it was going to explode.
Me and Luna walked out of the car and opened marks door.
"Hey Loren!! Wasssupp Luna?" Mark said. He was so cute I couldn't help but look at him. I felt like I was breaking my trust with Harvey but he knows and he's okay with it. Luna said she was going to help me get over him. I don't know how, at all.

"Markkkkk!!" Luna and I said. Luna looked at me and mouthed 'smile lor' I smiled.

"Loren you look stunning HHAHA" Mark and I both knew there were things to be discussed. We just didn't want to admit it.

All night that's all I thought of. I was having fun though. My feelings for Mark stayed the same. No different. I wanted to cry on one hand but on the other I felt so happy.

The end of the party rolled around and I pulled Mark aside in the kitchen.

"Hey.. Uhm--" Mark said something before I could finish. "Loren wait. I have been needing to get something off my chest for a while now, I just didn't know when. But I just always want to stay friends no matter what's gonna happen. I like you, a lot but I have been trying to shut down these feelings for a while and I just can't."

I wasn't expecting him to be so honest and tell me exactly how he felt. We felt the same way. My emotions took over me. He kissed me on the cheek.
"Mark?? Why'd you do that??" I was having so many mixed emotions. "I-I don't know what happened. I'm so so sorry!!" "No, it was partially my fault." "It's okay I just need to go"

Luna and I left.
