Seungri lays on his back and watches the sea, totally lost in the rhythmic percussion of waves on sand. He closes his eyes and enjoying the sound of waves crashing on the beach and then fades away. He looks to the champagne bottle on his right hand, it's almost empty. As empty as his heart. He chuckles to himself. At the end, Jiyong didn't come to him like how he expects him to be. Here he is, sitting alone on the beach with a bottle of champagne, wallows in his self-pity.
"Shit, after all.. Big Bang is more important than me" he voices, admitting this to himself. He laughs to his own word. Who is he trying to kid? Of course his fucking boyfriend will choose Big Bang over him. They are nothing without Big Bang. Their group is the main contribution to YG Entertainment's economic growth and is the top in Korean industry. And Jiyong, the great G-Dragon, the face and the sole of the group will definitely choose the group over a petty boyfriend of his. He scoffs at that. Everyone always make a big fuss about his boyfriend. "GD is so cool and full of swag" "GD is a genius" "GD is a fashion icon" "GD is rich as fuck" Yes, Seungri admits Jiyong is good in everything he did but what about him? For years he continues to work as hard as he could to be recognize as one of the top singer but what did he get in return? People always trash on him and for some reason they always bring back the sex scandal of his or the car accident. He knows what he did back then was wrong, he was a hot-blooded teenager at that time with money in his hand. It is inevitable that he would stray from the right path. It's fortunate that he has his hyungs who gladly offer to put some sense into him. He repents himself after that and tries to work harder, after all no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes but he still didn't get the appreciation from most people. They all know him as "the mischievous maknae of Big Bang" "promiscuous and good for nothing Seungri" "Seungri just lucky to be in Big Bang" he sick's of all that.
Even when he tries so hard, people will only compare Seungri to the other member who happens to be better than him. Seungri can act, but Seunghyun can act better. Seungri can dance, but Youngbae can dance better. Seungri can sing, but Daesung can dance better. And Jiyong? Who is he to be compared to the mighty G-Dragon? He wouldn't dare. He is so tired, so much in pain that whatever he does, it was never good enough. That's why he gives up trying to be a good singer but runs businesses instead. With that he hopes that one day people will recognize him as someone important, someone that is on par with his boyfriend. So that no one can say he can't be with his beloved Jiyong. People see him as a carefree person because they didn't see this part of him. The part of him that thinking further about his life, his future. He knows even Jiyong doesn't take him seriously at all. His boyfriend keeps on nagging him about his business without knowing his true intention and it's hurt him so much. Seungri scream to the night air, letting out all his frustration. "I hope Big Bang never exist!!"
"Is that so?"
Seungri turns to his back. He knows he hear a tiny voice from his back just now. He feels shiver running through his spine. All the Philippines ghost stories he heard from Dara comes to his mind such as Manananggal who can separate their upper torso and Tiyanak that loves to bite and devouring their victims. Shit, why is every country having different ghost by the way? He shakes his head, trying to calm himself down. Maybe it just some alcohol effect that make him hear non-exist voice. He then decides it's time for him to go back to his room. As he stands up, his eyes capture a silhouette in the sea. It's dark so he tries to squint his eyes to see it clearly.
"Help~!" comes a soft voice from afar.
Seungri runs to the silhouette. Each step he takes make his eyes clear that the silhouette is actually someone drowning to the sea. The cool breeze of the night air slowly helps him to sober up. He swims to the sea and tries to grasp that person's body. After he manage to get a hold on that person, he swims to the direction of the shore but the person that he tries to save is weighing him down. To make the matter worst, the strong waves of the sea had him in its clutches and he struggles to stay afloat. With his last amount of energy, he propels himself toward the surface, hand still grips tightly on that person. His arms and legs kick out desperately as he tries to swim to the shore and he finally did.
Cold licks at Seungri's face and crept under his clothes, not that he cares. He's too busy gasping for air. "Fuck, I thought I'm going to die!" he inhales and exhale desperately. That was scary. For a moment, he really thought it was over for him. He looks to the person lying next to him who he saves just now. "Are you okay?"
From the light of the moon, Seungri can barely see that person's face but he is sure that it's an old woman. He frowns his eyebrow. What is this old woman thinking? Swimming in the sea at 2 in the morning? Is she might be insane or something? "Are you okay?" he repeats his question but then he realise he's speaking in Korean so it would be understandable the old woman doesn't know how to answer. "Are you okay?" he then says the word in English. He knows Filipino mostly can speak in both Tagalog and English but it's an old person. She might only speak in Tagalog.
"I am okay" comes the soft voice of the old woman.
Seungri let out a relieve sigh. He relives that the old woman is okay and he also relive that she can speak in English so it would be easier for them to communicate. "Are you staying in the hotel? I can walk you there" he politely offers as he helps the old woman to stand up. He can't help but to stare at the bracelet that woman wear as her hand is on his. The bracelet gives beautiful shines under the moonlight.
The old woman shakes her head. "I can walk by myself just fine dear" she smiles fondly to the younger. There's a shine in her wrinkles eyes, as shining as her bracelet on the wrist that Seungri subtly eyeing it again. It's not that it really pretty but he somehow drowns to that bracelet. "You are such a good man. I wish I could repay you for saving my life"
Seungri almost chuckles to hear that. It's feel like he is the main character of some folktale stories his mother used to read him before bed when he was a kid. "No..you don't have to" he declines the offer. "If anything, I'm just relive you are okay"
"You can ask me anything that you want. I will grant it for you. Money? Love? Fame? Anything that you want" says the old woman. She holds Seungri's hand and look earnestly to the younger like she trying to say that she meant every word she said.
Okay, this woman might be insane after all. It's make sense. There is no way a sane person could be drowning in the sea at 2 am unless they are drunk or attempt to suicide themselves. "No, seriously.. I am good" he can feel the grip on his hand getting tighter. This woman is creepy and Seungri, being the coward as he is start to imagine the ghost stories again. He tries to remember any ghost that Dara told him before but he can't recall about any ghost that drowning at night and then offer to grant a wish after you save them. Isn't it more like a fairy? Or genie? He not really sure.
"Please, I'm insist" the old woman hiss. "Anything your heart desire" she stress out her word.
Seungri shakes his head. Honestly, he doesn't want anything except to get his hand away from the tight grip of the old woman. "I have everything. I have money, my business is going well. I have love, my boyfriend is the most wonderful person I have ever met. I have fame, I am in an idol group that is famous all around the world" he doesn't know why he has to say this but he finds himself explain to the old woman to assure her that he really doesn't need anything more in his life.
The old woman smiles to the younger but Seungri swear there is an eerie feeling behind that. "If you have everything, then why are you alone here?" she provokes him.
The night breeze blows a shiver down Seungri's spine. He somehow in trance with the old woman's voice like she knows there is really something that the younger want. His eyes orb with darkness. Every frustration he had earlier before saving the old woman from drowning comes back to his mind. He can hear many voices inside his head. Some of them are mocking him, telling how useless he is. Some of them are yelling at him, reminds him of the mistakes he did in the past. And there are also some voice..a sad one, pleading him to stop with this madness but he shove the last voice on the back of his head. "I..I.." he shutters on his own word. This is crazy. Did he really want to believe on this strange old woman that he just meets tonight, that she can grant him a wish? Fuck it, he got nothing to lose anyway.
The old woman smiles knowingly. She knows the younger already bend. "What do you want dear?"
"I wish Big Bang don't exist!"
p/s : I'm sorry for the confusion that i make earlier. It's not suppose to be an epilogue. Just part 2 of chapter 4. This is not the last chapter.
