As expected I made it back to school on Monday just in time to meet with Haruhi and hand in our work to the teacher. We had it in a few days early but I felt confident in my work and evidently so did Haruhi as she had been the one to suggest the earlier completion of our assignment. The rest of the week passed without incident. My teachers gave me the work i had missed out on and I completed it over the study period, perhaps it was because I had secluded myself in my work for so long that I was taken by surprise when I bumped into the Hitachiin twins on the way to lunch at the end of the week.
"There you are princess." The synchronized voices had me stopping in my tracks as the two ginger haired boys appeared in my vision blocking my path to the courtyard where I planned to eat lunch with Haruhi. I tensed slightly wondering why I had been singled out, I had already given them my shoes what more were they going to take from me. The boys ignored the tension in the air as they began to speak catching the attention of onlookers as the completed each others sentences. "We wanted to invite you." "To come to the host club today." "After school." I blinked shocked at their words.
Surely they didn't expect me to do as they requested, even if it was a simple enough request had no intention of following it, but for my own sake as the crowd gathered around us enlarged I put on my brightest smile and replied to them. "I would love to see you perform after school but I'm afraid I have my own club activities to attend to today maybe some other time, now if you'll please excuse me I hope to eat in the courtyard today and the seats do fill up ever so quickly." They paused "Oh." Kaoru and his brother frowned before perking up "Maybe some other time then?" I nodded politely as they stepped out of my way and I continued walking to the courtyard to meet with Haruhi.

I asked Haruhi about the twins request during our lunch but she had told me she had no idea about what it was about. The reason behind the unexpected gesture had my thoughts frazzled all day. It was only as I reached my club and we began rehearsing for our winter recital that my mind cleared and by the time club activities ended the thought had fled my mind completely.
I had stopped to turn in my make-up work before I began to walk to the front doors of the school. My hand was in my bag looking for my phone to call my driver but I was startled into dropping my bag as a somewhat familiar voice rang out in the empty corridor. "There you are." I chose not to face the source of the two pairs of footsteps coming towards me and instead opted to gather the items that had fallen from my bag.
A small hand reached out to help me up as I finished gathering my things I accepted it without any hesitation and was pulled up with surprising ease only to feel anxious as I faced the two host club members. The two people in front of me where stark opposites, one a brooding looking upperclassmen and the other the picture of Cherubic innocence, I wasn't fooled though even I had heard the stories of what these two were capable of.
Haninozuka-senpai spoke before I could a smile lighting up his face "Kyoya sent us to find you, he said your club activities ended half an hour ago, but we couldn't find you at first but here you are, c'mon!" as he spoke the boy grabbed my hand firmly enough for me to know that he wasn't letting go and began to drag me away. His talk of cake and similar pastries did nothing to ease my nerves as the grand doors of music room three came into view
We entered the room to chaos the twins were arguing with Kyoya, Tamaki was in the corner eating what looked to be instant ramen, and Haruhi looked like she had given up all hope. Oblivious to it all Haninozuka-senpai and his ever silent companion walked up to Kyoya. "We found her Kyoya-kun!" Said boys eyes narrowed slightly at the blond before he turned to face me a business-like expression on his face.
"Miss Dubios what an absolute pleasure to see you. Pardon my companions, please have a seat." his demeanor was pleasant enough but I was still reluctant as I sat on one of the plush couches that filled the room. He waited for me to situate myself before he sat down across from me. "We would like to request your assistance with a certain activity of ours." "Request or force?" the bitterness in my voice seemed to amuse him as he replied "I would never force a lady to heed my request, merely remind her of her unique incentive." "So your blackmailing me..." My voice trailed off as a rage filled me upon the realization that I really had no choice but to comply with him if I ever hoped to get my shoes back from him. I was moments away from exploding when Haruhi's voice calmed me.
"Kyoya-senpai doesn't mean any harm. Lilliana please don't fight about this, think of it as if your doing me a favor not them, please." Kyoya nodded at her and i bit my lip to keep from saying anything. He cleared his throat before speaking again "We would like you to teach Haruhi how to dance, as I'm sure your aware we have a ball coming up and it has come to our attention that she doesn't know how." I wasn't surprised that they were having a party I had heard the rumors, what shocked was that they were turning it into a ball, I hadn't heard that. I looked to Haruhi before deciding on my reply, apparently she could tell that I wanted to say no because she clasped her hands together in a begging motion. "Fine." I relented quickly knowing this was something I could do for Haruhi. Kyoya smiled "Excellent shall we begin."
Suddenly I was enveloped in a hug by the host clubs king "Oh how wonderful my daughter bonding with other girls her age." My head spun as I was taken from his arms. "Tamaki-senpai you can't keep doing that." Haruhi scolded. I stood there and observed the scene standing next to the silent Morinozuka as the situation escalated quickly. What exactly had I gotten myself into by accepting their request, only time would tell.
