Dan's POV

I was in so much shit. Late for lesson because I lost my fucking way.

I sprinted down the dull hallways, dodging the small clusters of students who couldn't give a shit about their grades or getting to class, before entering the science block.

And I froze.

He lay there, curled up lifeless.

A small gasp left my lips as I bolted towards Phil, completely ignoring the fact that I was going to miss the start of class. But I couldn't leave him there. Not like that.

"Phil?" I asked quietly, calling his name close to his ear. He didn't move, nor make a sound. I chewed on my bottom lip, trying to think of what to do.

In one swift movement, I picked Phil up in my arms, grabbing his bag too. I looked around the hallway, contemplating whether to stay in school or get him help. "Fuck it." I mumbled, striding down the hallway and out the doors, walking in the direction of my house.

Phil wasn't as light as I had hoped, meaning it took me an extra five minutes to get home, rustling in my pocket and pulling out my keys, rushing in the door.

I took Phil up to my room, placing him carefully on my bed. For a moment or so, I just stared at him, until my phone buzzed and I groaned. Alex.

She was a girl I had met in my music class. She was hot, yes, but I was bi and she would probably hate me for it.

I texted her back, she asking where I was with a load of kisses. I told her now wasn't the time, and left it at that.

I decided after five minutes of watching the boy asleep on my bed, to change, as the clothes I was wearing weren't exactly comfortable. I changed into sweats and a t-shirt, feeling awkward as I stripped in the corner of my room watching Phil.

After that, I washed my hair, deciding against straightening it again as it was only Phil here. He wouldn't care.

After towel drying, I headed downstairs to the kitchen, as I figured when Phil woke up he'd want something to drink and maybe even a bit to eat.

I didn't want him seeing my whole house, as most of it is this horrible brown-orange colour my mom is obsessed with, and I personally hate. It embarrassing more than anything.

I grabbed some cookies, neatly arranging them on a plate on top of a tray, followed by a glass of water and some tablets.

He wasn't awake when I had returned upstairs, and I began to worry. Needless to say, I placed the tray down next to my bed and sat opposite Phil, on my beanbag, just watching him.

Phil woke up 30 minutes later.
