Chapter 10

I woke up, only to see that Taehyung was already gone. I sat up and found a note on his pillow.

"I'm working early today. I'm sorry, that you're waking up alone. Make yourself a nice day.

Love,
Taehyung."

I sighed. It was sad, but I decided to go out for breakfast. I showered and got dressed before I left the house. It was a sunny day, I was walking along the path at the park. Suddenly, a really cute dog came to me. I knelt down and stroke him.

"Hey, little puppy~" I smiled.

"He likes you." A young women, probably my age, said laughing.

I stood up and smiled at her. Her face seemed familiar to me and I remembered why.

"Lee Minhee, is that you?!" I asked in excitement.

"I knew you wouldn't forget me!!" She smiled proudly.

"Oh my god, I thought you were in Europe?!" I hugged her.

Minhee was my childhood best friend until she moved to europe, since her parents found better work there.

"I know! But--"

I interrupted her.

"Hey, tell me EVERYTHING! But I'm starving, so tell me everything in the cafe! Come!" I smiled and pulled her with me.

~at the cafe~

"So, tell me, why are you back?" I asked her, sipping my coffee.

"I missed Seoul! And now, I'm independent and wanted to start a new life in my home town." Minhee explained.

"Sounds great! I'm so happy that you're back. I don't really have friends here, besides Hoseok. By the way, I'm sure he would like to see you too!"

"You say you don't really have friends, but.." she took my hand, "..who is that lucky one? Looks like a diamond ring!"

"Oh, yeah.. My parents had this crazy idea--"

"No way! Arranged marriage?! What is his name?!" Her eyes went huge.

"Kim Taehyung. He seemed to be really nice and cute, but sometimes he is just selfish.. But I guess, I'm in love with him already."

She smiled. "Guys can be a bit difficult."

I sighed, "True."

"Hey." She put her hand on mine, "I'm really happy to be back. I will always be there for you."

I lifted my head and smiled at her. "Thank you."

We left the cafe and I invited her to our home.

"Come in, come in." I pulled her with me.

"Wow, this place looks beautiful! You live here??" She said in awe.

"It's Taehyung's house, I'm living here since we're married."

We sat on the couch in the living room.

"So, you are a rich girl now?" She asked, giggling.

I posed as if I was thinking "Well, I didn't think about it, but I guess so." We laughed.

We talked about memories of our childhood as the time flies. A few hours later, the door opened and Taehyung came in.

"Y/N? I'M BACK!" He shouted.

"WE ARE IN THE LIVING ROOM!~" I shouted back.

"Should I go now?" Minhee asked me.

"No! Please stay a little longer." I said, smiling at her.

"Oh, you have a visitor?" He walked into the living room.

"Taehyung, this is my childhood friend Lee Minhee"

He bowed, "Nice to meet you, miss."

Minhee laughed, "Nice to meet you too, gentleman."

Taehyung smiled before walking to the kitchen.

"Wow, Y/N, he is really handsome!" Minhee whispered to me and I laughed.

"Hey, do you want to drink something?" I asked her.

"Sure."

I got up and walked into the kitchen. Taehyung was standing in front of the counter and I hugged him from behind.

"Hey~" I said.

He turned around and pecked my lips. "Hello, wifey~", he chuckled.

"You must be tired." I put my arms around his neck.

"Yeah, sure, but I'm fine."

"Come, I want you to sit with us and meet my best friend.~" I pulled his arm.

We sat in the living room and talked, laughed and fooled around. It was really fun and I was really happy that Taehyung joined us, it showed me that I can have fun with him too. Also, I missed doing something with friends like Minhee!

"It's already late, I guess I have to go know." Minhee said.

"Oh, okay.. Thanks for coming!" I said.

"Thanks for having me!"

We hugged each other before she left. Soon after that, I felt Taehyung wrapping his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind and resting his chin on my shoulder.

"I like seeing you happy." His husky voice whispering in my ear.

I put my hand on his cheek, "I'm happy to have you, I regret nothing."

He took me up in bridal style and got into our bedroom, dropping me on the bed. He lay down beside me and pulled me close.

"Let's sleep, I'm tired." His sleepy, deep voice appeared.

I closed my eyes and soon after that I fell asleep.
