Chapter 9

He looked like he was about to beat the shit out of Hobi, I was really afraid.

"He was just visiting--"

He cut me off. "I told you not to meet him again!" He yelled.

"So, she is not allowed to meet a close friend while you're lying to her and meeting another woman?!" Hoseok stood up.

"Hobi, it's okay.." I tried to make him sit down again.

"No, it's not! He has to explain!"

"What woman are you talking about??" Taehyung crossed his arms.

"Rosè?" I crossed mine too and furrowed an eyebrow.

"Rosè is the fiancé from a friend of mine! We're really close and I help her a lot.. What how do you know?!"

"I heard you on the telephone!" I said.

"You overheard me on the telephone? Seriously?! Do you even know the word 'privacy'?!" He scoffed.

"Taehyung, I'm so--"

"Shut up! And you," he pointed at Hobi, "get out of my house!"

He stomped away and I had a guilty feeling. I mean, did I do something wrong?

"Are you okay, Y/N?" Hobi asked me, rubbing my back.

"Yeah, it's fine. But you should go now, I don't want you to be in trouble because of me."

He hugged me before leaving the house. "Okay, see you."

I sighed as I decided to look for Taehyung. I walked to the bedroom and slowly opened the door. There he was, looking out of the window.

"You know.. I didn't expect you to come this early.." I walked in and sat on bed, looking at him.

He didn't turn around, his back was facing me. "I wanted to surprise you, since Rosè let me go early."

"I'm confused. I thought you were working?" I frowned.

He turned around to face me. "I was working. You wonder who Rosè is, huh?"

I nodded. He sat beside me and took a deep breath.

"Well.. A friend of mine, Park Jimin, has a big company with his fiancé Rosè. Jimin is in hospital for a while.. that's why I help out in his company, you know? And since I also have a big company, I'm working a lot. I'm sorry I didn't tell you.."

I smiled. "It's okay. But.. you also don't have to worry about Hobi.. We are friends since childhood and he is like a brother to me!"

"Maybe I was a bit overreacting.. If you say he is like a brother to you.. I accept that.." He smiled, brushing my cheek with his hand.

"Thank you."

I rested my head on his shoulder and eventually fell asleep..
