HELLO JELLY BEANS!

Whats this? ANOTHER CHAPTER THAT ISN'T AN ETERNITY APART FROM THE LAST POST!? Well technically the last post was an update but you get what I mean.

ANY WHOOOO~

I decided to do another sort of supernatural theme and this time its on the red string of fate myth thingy.

I know, cliche but I have been wanting to write a Nalu version or even my own story about it for a long time now.

So, without further ado, here you go!

Lucy POV

"-I couldn't think of a better person to be matched with," A girl in the hallway said, going on and on about getting her soulmate. Every day there's at least one person that is giggling about getting their soulmate, thanks to the 'ol red string that pops up into our lives. We are all told the same thing when we are younger. When you turn 16, you have a chance that you can see the red string and for an hour, the red string will be attached to your soul mate so you can find them. Of course, this can happen randomly for some people, like my friend Jellal, he turned 16 and nothing happened, only till my other friend Erza turned 16 and it appeared. I do know a few people that have had that experience.

"-Ere they come!" I heard the girls in the hallway scream as the popular boys rolled into the halls.  I turned to see if my suspicion was correct and I was 100% right. Three boys, the Triple Threat they were called, walked down the hallway, and judging by the facial expressions, they didn't really want any attention from all these girls. To be honest, I can't blame them, I wouldn't like it if all these 10 to 18-year-old's were gathering around these guys.

I look at the boys that I have known almost all my life. Gajeel Redfox, 17, head of the music club. He has the face of someone who has been to jail about 18 times, red eyes, pierced eyebrows and chin, long dark hair and an athletic figure and grip that can break someone's leg like a toothpick, but in truth, he is a really sweet guy under all that tough-guy facade. Also, I don't know why girls like him so much, he obviously has the biggest crush on planet earth for Levy, a quiet bookworm who can be considered my all-around best friend.

Grey Fullbuster, 17, he has the body of a god but the stubbornness of a mule. He gets a lot of attention from the girls, and some men too, especially when he strips. it not intentional though, he does it without even realizing it. One moment, fully clothed, the next he's down to his briefs. He is a complete Tsundere too. There is this girl, Juvia, that literally stalks him and has plushies of him in her locker and he treats her like the plague, but whenever she stays homesick, he really misses here. He may deny it, but we can all tell that deep down in that icy heart, he does feel something for his stalker. The day he found out she was his soul mate, however, was absolute chaos. He is still coming to terms with it. I've known Grey for a long time, after all, we are cousins.

Then there's Natsu Dragneel. The all-mighty. 16 turning 17 in a matter of weeks. He is the captain on the basket ball game, earning the title as 'the salamander'. He is not someone to be messed with. He may be the shortest but he has a fiery temper and is defiantly the boss of the group. He gets the most girls, and some guys, out of both Grey and Gajeel combined. His oddly coloured salmon hair makes him easy as pie to spot in a crowd, and mind you, he can pull it off very well. Seriously, he's the only one who can. other boys have tried to get attention from girls, but they just look like the fairy god mother gone wrong. I have to admit, I even have the smallest crush on him, but we are just friends, he would never see me like that in return, not in a million years, he's too dense anyways. I've known Natsu the longest out of all three guys. I've known him since I was learning to walk. We slept in the same crib together, did everything together. He is my all time best friend, and always will be. He turned 16 last year, and when he did, he didn't get his string of fate, which made girls have that spark of hope still gleaming. I too still had that hope, but every time I thought of it, reality would hit me like a bitch, bringing me down to earth and thinking properly. Natsu wouldn't like me back, he can't...right?
