Marissa's POV

I awoke once more to the sound of screaming coming from down the hall. I didn't think anything of it, until I heard gun shots going off. I sat up quickly, wincing as it caused pain in my mid-section and between my legs. I looked over at Cassie, Livie and Ellie to find them looking around, scared and confused.

I slowly crawled over to them and asked, "What's going on?"

"I don't know," Livie said.

"They're here," Ellie said.

"Who?" Cassie demanded.

"My pack," she said, pride and relief in her voice. "Danny just mind-linked me, they're somewhere in the labyrinth of cells down here."

"Who's they?" Livie asked.

"Alpha Cade, Tyson, Michael, Danny, and Damon," she said.

"Who?" Livie asked confused.

"Alpha Cade, Mary's friend Tyson, Beta Michael, Danny and Damon," Ellie said more helpfully.

"Oh, okay," Livie said.

"But, they don't know where we are," Ellie said. "So, we have to tell them. By shouting and yelling."

"Okay," Cassie said. Then, at the top of her lungs, she yelled, "Guys! We're over here!"

Soon, Livie and Ellie joined in, yelling at the top of their lungs. I could hear distant voices shouting orders and footsteps running our way. I didn't join in the yelling. Why? I don't know.

Soon enough, five dark figures appeared and started running over to us. I recognized three of them to be Tyson, Damon and Danny.

Damon took one look at me and growled. I was shocked by what I was hearing, and a little bit afraid.

A muscular blonde guy stepped forward and touched the bars, trying to get them opened. They opened just far enough to let us get through and out of the cell.

"Come on, girls," he said gruffly. "We don't have much time."

Ellie went out first and stood up straight. She hugged Damon and Danny as she cried. Next went Cassie, laughing and smiling the whole way.

"God," she said laughing. "Feels good to finally be out of there."

Livie followed her and was immediately engulfed in a hug by Danny. I slowly climbed out the tight, make-shift hole. I stood up and was quickly pulled to a hard chest. I stiffened as arms went around my waist.

I recognized the guy to be Damon as he placed kisses all over my head.

"You're okay," he said, more to himself than me. "You're okay." He kept repeating that over and over again.

I stood still as he continued to embrace me. Soon, I moved out of his hold to stand on my own. He looked down at me with pain in his eyes.

"Marissa?" he asked.

"Yes?" I asked politely.

"Everything okay?"

I nodded. "Yes," I said. "Everything's fine."

"C'mon," Danny said. "Let's get out of here."

I followed them out of the maze of tunnels and halls. Damon walked next to me, brushing his arm against mine gently. Ahead of me, Danny and Livie were wrapped in each other's embrace, rejoicing the fact that they get to see the other once more. Cassie was walking next to Tyson, talking about what had happened with our time in this ratchet place. The blonde guy along with another guy were leading us out of here.

"Hey!" a voice shouted. We all stopped and turned to see Eli running over to us.

"Eli!" the blonde guy said. They did a man-hug type thing when Eli got closer. "How ya been, man?" he asked.

"Okay, I guess," Eli said. He looked over at me. "Hey, Mary, how's your torso?"

"Fine," I said quietly.

I heard a growl and looked up to see Damon looking at me with pain in his eyes once more. He was watching me closely.

"What happened?" he asked gruffly and deeply.

"Jarred," I said shortly. "He happened."

"I'm gonna kill him," Damon growled.

"Not yet," the blonde said. I still don't know his name. "We have to get the girls out of here, then we'll come back and kill him."

Damon nodded and looked at me sadly. I looked away, not liking the fact that I was the cause of his sadness.

We continued our journey once more, Eli showing us the way out. When we finally got outside, I said what looked like a war going on out across the field. There was wolves and humans all over the place. Most of the humans were naked and all male.

We passed them as we made our way to a pick-up truck that was hidden behind a bunch of trees. It was a Ford F 350, blue and really big. We climbed in the truck. Danny, Livie and Cassie in the backseat. Ellie, Eli and Tyson climbed into the bed of the truck. Damon got behind the wheel and I was sandwiched between him and the blonde guy.

"Alpha Cade," the blonde guy said. He held his hand out to me.

"Mary," I said shaking it carefully.

"Well, Mary," Alpha Cade said. "Nice to have you back."

"Thank you, sir," I said.

"Don't thank me, thank Alpha Damon," he said. "He's the one who organized this whole mission."

I looked at Damon shyly. He'd put the truck in gear and was starting down the gravel road. He sensed me watching him and turned to glance at me.

Kissing my head he said, "I missed you so much."

I nodded and turned my attention away from him.

"Why the long faces?" Cassie asked from the backseat. "We just got away from Jarred and his rouges, I wanna party! So, crank up the music and let's ride."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. Damon reached forward and turned on the radio to a dubstep station. 'Crazy Bitch' by BuckCherry came out through the speakers.

And soon, Livie and Cassie were in the back singing along.

Hey
You're a crazy bitch
But you fuck so good I'm on top of it.
When I dream, I'm doing you all night,
Scratches down my back to keep me right on

Alpha Cade, Danny and Damon laughed as they sang. I kept my face neutral as they sang, trying not to laugh as they sang about fucking a girl.

"Crazy bitch," they sang loudly.

About three minutes later, they collapsed in a heap of laughter. Then, on came 'Lost It All' by Black Veil Brides.

I listened to the girls in the back sing loudly to every song that came on as we drove home. Luckily, they could sing.
