Epilogue

Marissa's POV

Life has been good since Damon and I confessed our love for each other. Since that day, I've moved in with him along with Livie. I got introduced to the pack and claimed my title as Luna.

There's been no more problems with rouges since Jarred was killed.

Oh, and just the other day, I went to the pack doctor for a check-up with my back, and I found out some interesting news. Now, it's only a matter of telling Damon. I have no idea how he'll react, and quite frankly, I'm scared to find out.

I sat in our bedroom on our bed as I waited for him to arrive. I was so scared, my stomach was in knots. I'm so worried about how he'll react. What if he gets mad? What if he hates me? What if he hurts me?

Oh, God, I'm terrified now.

"Hey, Mary," Damon said as he entered our room. Yeah, I finally managed to get him to call me 'Mary' instead of 'Marissa'.

"H-Hey, Damon," I said as he walked over to me. He sat down on the bed next to me and moved me into his lap. He brushed some of my hair out of my eyes and gazed at me curiously.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"N-Nothing," I said.

"Mary, you're a terrible liar, you know that?" he said. "You always stutter when you lie."

"Sorry."

"It's okay. Now, tell me what's wrong."

"I went to the doctor today," I started.

"Did something happen at the doctor's office?" he asked.

I nodded.

"What?"

"They ran some tests and found out that I'm. . .um. . ."

"Marissa," Damon said. "What's wrong?"

"I'm pregnant."

Damon froze as he processed what I said. Suddenly, he stood up and started spinning me around, laughing.

"We're having a baby!" he shouted gleefully.

I laughed at his reaction and nodded. He set me back down on the ground and kissed me.

"I'm gonna be a dad," he said smiling. "And you're gonna be a mom."

I nodded.

"Great," he said. "Mary, were you scared to tell me?"

I nodded.

"Why?" he asked. "You know how I feel about children."

"I know, it must just be a girl thing," I said shyly.

"Well, I hope you know that I absolutely love the fact that I'm having a baby with you."

"I know that now."

"Good. Now, names."

Now, I'm sorry for any confusion, but it's far into the future. It's about three months into the future and since Marissa's human, it takes her longer to heal, which is why she's getting her back checked.

Also, since she's the mate to an Alpha, only he can get her pregnant, which is why it's not Jarred's baby.
