Guinevere's p.o.v

As they led me through the town of people the people made a way. Whispers were flying around. 'Who is she?', 'isn't she the queen?!', 'I'd tap that booty', 'the king is so lucky! Why can't I have her!?'.

You can bet the last two were from horny unmated men.

As we walk into the castle I'm met with many different sighs, smells and sounds. Servants are running around doing whatever their duties are. The smell of a feast being cooked fills my nose. The sounds of head servants yelling orders out, the guards talking amongst themselves, and the laughter of children.

"Guinevere!"

A familiar voice yells out over the other sounds. I see Peter making his way over to me.

"Peter!"

I shout and run towards him. I wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. I press my lips to his and everything goes silent. Gasps fill the room as Peter's lips work against my own.

Very soon after a very loud growl is sounded in the room. Peter and I pull away and look in the direction of the growl. Standing there is a man with blonde hair and blue eyes. The scent of Cinnamon and fresh rain fills my nose.

'Mate! Mate! Ditch this looser and run to mates arms!!'

My wolf happily yells at me. I gasp as the blonde man glares at Peter. His eyes flash gold as he battles for control.

"That is my mate you have in your arms!"

The blonde man yells at Peter as he walks forward. His jaw was clenched and his fists were so tight that his knuckles were turning white. Peter gasps and realises his hold on me. I turn around and look at my first love.

His eyes were brimming with tears. His bottom lip was trembling like it always does when he is about to cry. His brown eyes looked so shiny as they glazed over with tears.

"Peter."

I speak softly and he holds his hand out. He puts his index finger up as if to shush me.

"No, no G-Guinevere. G-Go, go be with your mate. Be h-happy. I-i want t-that for you."

He says as tears poor over his eyelids. I can feel the tears falling down my face as well.

"Peter please! Don't leave me!"

I yell as Peter turns his back on me and walks away. My heart is breaking at loosing the first man I have ever loved. Why? Why couldn't he be my mate? We love each other, a pure love without any bonds that force it.

"Mate."

My mate speaks softly as he places a hand on my shoulder. Everyone is still looking at us as I turn sharply around.

"You! This is all your fault! If it wasn't for you I would still be happy! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!!"

I scream at him as tears fall down my face. I punch his chest as I scream 'I hate you!'. My punches don't faze him. I shift and run away from him.

It's all his fault that Peter and I can't be together! Why?! Why did he have to come into my life?! I hate him! I hate him so much!

The people clear a way as I run out of there. I run fast and I run far.

'Peter! Peter!'

I try to reach him through our mind link. I just want to be held in his arms right now. All I want is to feel his comforting hold once more.

'Gosh darn it! Peter answer me for goddess sake!!'

I scream at him and I finally feel his presence in my mind once more.

'G-Guinevere.'

He whimpers out my name and I stop running. I look around before I lay on the ground to catch my breath.

"Peter I want to meet up with you one last time. Please come find me.'

I beg him as I shift back. I lay on the grass crying my eyes out. A few minutes later I feel two strong arms grab ahold of me. I open my eyes to see Peter's blood shot brown eyes.

"Gwen you know we can't be together. Your mate will kill me if he finds out about us. More than he already knows that is."

Peter tells me as he rocks me back and forth. One thing that calms him down is being able to hold someone he loves close. His mate will be one special lady, that I am sure of.

"I know, but Peter. Let's just enjoy this moment while we still can."

I tell him softly as I lay my head on his shoulder. I begin to hum a random tune and Peter joins in. That's when I realized I was humming the tune of James Arthur's song impossible.

"You have won you can go ahead, tell them
Tell them all I know now
Shout it on the roof tops
Write it on the skyline."

And with Peter's singing I let sleep take me away from the harsh world that is now my reality.
