movie date for one
_____________________Three days after the whole 'she and Derek almost dying' night, Anatalia found herself in Beacon's local movie store alone, looking for something to keep her mind off of the hunters on her and Derek's tail.
The store was dead, no trace of the clerk or any other customers.
Ana had a bad feeling deep in her gut, but ignored it as she looked through the shelves, already having Superbad and The Breakfast Club in her hands before she heard a voice call out.
"Can anyone tell me where to find The Notebook?"
She rolled her eyes and looked up from her isle to see a very irritated and defeated looking Jackson Whittemore standing in the middle of the store, looking around for any help.
She sighed, "No one has been in here since I got here. It's been completely dead."
"McCall? What are you doing here?" Jackson asked as he approached the brunette, looking over her comfy attire.
The older girl raised a brow and nodded to her movies, "Movie date for one.. The Notebook, huh?"
Jackson's scowl appeared on his face again as he looked over the shelf of movies. "Lydia."
The brunette chuckled. "I can only assume she didn't want to sit around watching lacrosse videos?" Her sarcastic tone made him glare at her before giving her a tight lipped smile.
"Do you know where it is?"
She shrugged. "My guess is somewhere near where I found The Breakfast Club."
She stated before holding up the movie, shaking it.
She nodded her head over to the isle before she smelled blood.
She slowly lowered her arm and looked around carefully, her feet slowly following the scent, only to see a man in a blue and white pin-striped button up, bloodied and mangled.
She swallowed thickly and softly called out to the blonde boy in the store with her.
"Jackson?"
"Yeah?"
She set her movies down and inhaled, the strong scent that she recognized from Laura's body surrounding her.
