15~Do You Know Where He Is?

(John's POV)

James: I apologize in advance

For what?

What happened?

"Daddy?" Philip called from the dining room.

"What is it, Pip?" I asked, sitting next to him.

"When's papa coming home?" He questioned

I sighed "I don't know"

He frowned and returned to his coloring as I made my way to the couch. I texted James to see if he would tell me why he was apologizing.

John: James? Why are you apologizing? Did something happen?

I got a reply within the next two minutes.

James: Um.. I can't really tell you the details but just know I'm sorry and I had nothing to do with this.

John: What? What happened? Does it have to do with Alex? Do you know where he is!?

No response.

I decided to try and text Alex again, maybe he'll respond this time.

John: Alex, where are you?

I got up and left my phone on the couch, not expecting him to respond. But surprisingly, he did.

Alex<3: Ha

What?

John: Huh?

Alex<3: Now you care.

John: Alex, I've always cared. Now where are you.

Alex<3: making friends. Don't you want me to be happy?

John: Well yeah, but it depends on what kind of "friends" you're talking about.

Alex<3: just friends, John.

John: I hope you're telling the truth...

John: When are you coming home?

Alex<3: Um, I don't know

John: Well I need to know. I'm worried about you, Alex.

Alex<3: Don't be. I love you~

John: I love you too, Alex.

Just then I received message from Thomas.
