My eyes fluttered open to a bright white ceiling. Where am I?
"Alexander?" a soft voice spoke
"Alexander, you're awake!" The woman exclaimed, hugging me tightly.
I finally looked around the room, I was in a hospital. I didn't know the girl hugging me.
She pulled away from me, smiling brightly.
"What happened?" I asked
"You don't remember? When the hurricane hit back in the Caribbean, you were severely injured and fell into a coma. You've been asleep for 9 months." She started to tear up. "I'm so glad you're awake!"
"Where's John?" I asked
"John?" She questioned, confusion flooding her tone
"My husband." I stated
"Alex, you're married to me" she told me, frowning.
I fell back against my bed
"It... It was all a dream?"
