9. Lunch Time

~~~ Meagan's P.O.V.~~~

After fourth perios was over I could fell that Jared was so tense. He was only looking at Nadia and Austin.

"Hey are you okay?" I whisper.

"Yeah why?" He whispered back.

"Oh well you look sad and you are so tense." I told him. Know we were making our way to lunch.

"Oh umm well I just had a long day that's all." Jared told me shrugging his shoulder.

"Umm well can I ask you something?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure what's up?" He reply back.

"Do you like Nadia?" I told him.

"Umm. No.... Why?" He told me unsure of his answer.

"Oh I was just wondering.Don't Nadia and Austin look cute together?"I asked him.

"Ummm yeah sure." He said.

"What do you want for lunch? Hamburger or Pizza?" I asked him.

"I'll take a slice of pizza." He reply. We took our lunch and found our table with Nadia, Austin, Ciera, and Ethan.

"Hey guys." I waved at them.

"Hey Meagan what's up? What took y'all so long?" Ciera asked.

"Well we had to go to my locker and we were talking on our way here so yeah." I told them.

"Oh okay. How is school Jared?" Ethan asked.

"Eh. it is okay." He reply.

~~~ Nadia'a P.O.V.~~~

After Meagan and Jared took a seat all i wanted to do was to go and hug him and have him hug me but it can't be.

*** Hey Nadia I need to talk to you*** Meagan told me thru our mind link.

*** Hey Meags what's up?*** I asked with curiosity.

*** I think that Jared likes you*** Megan said hurt in her words. I knew she liked him even though they just meet. I didn't know what to say.

*** No he don't he doesn'tlike me.*** I tried to sound as calm as I possibly could.

*** Nadia we both know that he is your mate!!! Why are y'all denyig each other?*** When Meagan said that she knew about him all I wanted was cry I dont know how she knew about him but it made everything worse because she will try to tell him to accept me and me to accept him and he hurt me. I dont know what to do know.

***What are you talking about?*** i asked her sounding nervousse.

***you know better than I do what I'm talking about.*** Meagan told me

***Fine! I will tell you but you can not and Meagan I'm being serious you can not tell this to anyone at all!*** I told her sounding serious.

***Okay I promise.*** Whe she toldme that I blocked everyone from getting into my mind.

"Do you agree." Meagan asked me.

"I'm sorry what?" I asked her.

"If you want to have Austin's party next week at your dad's house in the lake?" Meagan told me.

"Oh yeah I know that my dad won't mind." I told her.

"Mkay well would you prefer Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday?" Ciera told me.

"UmmI think that Friday at 6:00 P.M. thru Saturday morning and then we six can stay until Sunday night?" I told them.

"Yeah that will be the best weekend ever!" Ethan said.

"Mkay well that is that." I told them.

"Hey guys wanna chill outside?" Austin came and asked us if we wanted to go outside.

"Yeah sure why not." Jared said.

"Well come on." Ethan said.

"Lets go girls." I told  them. We followed the guys outside and I could hear Austin and Jared saying that he thinks that he likes Meagan.  I was shocked, but I knew that he can just try to make me jealous because we both know that we are mates. So why would he "Like " someone else when he knows who his mate is?Ugh he is getting on my nerves.
