14. A Run

While I was changing i was thinking about what I was going to do about this whole thing with Jared, Meagan, and me. I don't know if I should tell the pack that I have found my mate and have Austin live his life and search for his mate instead of being with me, or if I should keep quiet and let Meagan and Jared enjoy their love life? Ugh I hate this but good thing that we are going on a run that way this can help me clear my mind from everything going on right know.

"Hey guys are you all ready to go for a run?" I asked them. Something doesn't seem right. Of course Meagan and Jared are not here.

"Umm where is Meagan and Jared ?" I asked no one in particular, something or should I say someone snapped me out of my thoughts. I felt a pair of hands wrapped around my waist. I jumped a little shocked because I did not know who it was. And as I expected it was Austin.

"Hey babe I've missed you are you ready to go for a run?" Austin asked me kissing the top of my head.

"Yeah, but where are Meagan and Jared at?' I asked him still looking for Meagan and Jared.Where could they have gone?

"We are right here." Meagan waved her hand from outside.

"Oh well then lets go and join them." I told them.

''Where did you guys go?" I asked them. Then I saw that Jared had clothes on his hand.

'Well I took Jared with me and let him borrow some of Austin's clothes. I hope that you don't mind Austin." Meagan told us, but the last part was more towards Austin than any of us.

"well then let go for a run." I told them not looking at Jared.

'Okay then lets go I need this run!" Austin said.
"I thing that we all need the run." Meagan said. We all nodded in agreement even Jared nodded his head.

"Lets go then." I told them. Leading the way towards the woods we all stopped so that we could divide into groups.

"Jared since you don't know this place well why don't you go with me and Nadia ?" Meagan told Jared.

"I think that he is fine where he is with the boys." Ciera said at least I didn't have to tell him that.

"Yeah I agree with Ciera that he can "Bond" more with the boys." I said not looking at Jared in the eyes. He always makes fell weird.

"Okay then you guys win." I heard Austin say.

"Wait what happen?" Both Jared and I asked.

"Well if you and Jared were not having a starring contest then you two would of probably heard what we were talking about." Ethan said. Wait did he say that me and Jared were starring at each other? What? How?

"Ethan what are you talking about?" I asked him sounding very curious on what he meant with the "starring contest".

"That you and Jared were starring at each other like if both of your life's dependent on it. Sometimes we think that you guys could be mates." Ciera said wiggling her eyebrows at us.

"WHAT!!!!!!" Both me and Jared said at the same time.

"Ciera please stop saying non-sense and lets go for a run before I regret going with you guys." I told Ciera.

"Fine. Fine lets go I just just saying." Ciera said hold her hands up.

"Well then don't say." This time it was Jared the one that spoke up.

"Guys lets just go. Jared you come with us." Austin said using his Beta tone. Not that it will affect Jared since he has Alpha blood.

"We need to talk" I told Ciera through our mind link.

"I'm sorry!"

" Ciera I'm telling about Jared because I know that I can trust you right?"

"Yes of course you can trust me it is just that I was ugh I dont know. I'm sorry Luna it won't happen anymore."

"Thank you and Ciera?"

"Yes Luna?"

"Please stop calling me Luna  you know that you can drop off the title I"m not like that." I told her laughing.

"Lets race!" I told all of them.

"But what about Jared?" Ethan asked.

"what about him?" I asked.

"Yeah he don't know the land that well." Ethan said back.

"Okay, do you know where the lake is at?" I asked him.

"Yes." He said back using a monotone.

"Okay that's where the race will end." I told them.

"In your marks." I said through our mind link.

"Get ready." Austin said.

"Set." Jared said

"GO!" we all said s soon as the word left our mouths we ran as fast as we could.

"At first it was me and Austin were ahead then out of no where Jared was right beside me and austin was all the way behind. It me and Jared followed by Meagan and Ethan, and then Ciera and Austin. Which was weird because it  's weird since Austin has Beta blood in him just like Meagan.

Me and Jared were the first ones there. Then it was Meagan and Austin and at last it was Ciera and than were last.

we all change behind a tree and lets say in wasn't fun at all.

"That was fun!" Jared said as soon as we were all sitting down near the lake.

"Yeah I guess." Austin said.

"Come on man are you mad because Jared beat you?" Ethan asked.

"No i really expected that since he was next in line to become Alpha of his pack." Austin said.

"Well I guess we can say that we all needed that run and it helped us all." I finally said.

"Yeah I guess." Meagan said.

"Hey whats wrong?" I asked her.

"Oh nothing I was just thinking about how things will be since Jared is here." She finally said.

"What do you mean?" I asked her feeling worried.

"Yeah what if your dad makes him alpha and not you?" she asked.
