Me and the two girls I'm closest with, Danielle and Maine, started talking about how we could end the rumors. We were so determined about it. Then, I suddenly blurted out an idea.
"What if I hire someone to be my boyfriend for a month. Someone I won't fall in love with."
My friends looked at me with amazed faces.
"Yes! Then after a month, I start dating someone, then after we 'break up,' Danielle start dating too!" Maine said with excitement
We paused.
Then laughter started coming out. We couldn't believe we just said that. Wait, more like we know we won't actually do it.
"As if! Talking to boys is already hard for us, what more on asking them to be out temporary boyfriend" said Danielle with tears coming out of her eyes from deep laughter.
"Plus, I want my first boy friend to be real with real feelings" I said with a pout.
"I mean if you think about it, it wont be real. So you guys wont really become officially together." said Maine with a teasing look on her face.
"Or you can do it, for sure, the rumors will stop. Plus I might fall otherwise if I do get a fake one" said Danielle
We just smiled at each other and our topic randomly changed when Danielle saw a cute video of a puppy on instagram.
