Let's talk about the Moon

He then started to make a twitter account for me and a kik and explaining how we they work and such. Honestly, I was too tired, I forgot everything he said.

We're in his car now. It's just 6 o'clock and my house is 30 minutes away, depends on the traffic.

"I didn't know you live far," we're now leaving the beautiful neighborhood that he lives in.

"Yeah, I didn't wanna move school so..." I answered as I was fastening my seat belt.

It was getting dark and something mesmerizing in the sky had caught my eyes.

"What are you looking at?" Levin caught my attention.

"The moon," I answered still having my eyes magnetized by the bright and round ball of magic in the sky.

"You know what's funny? Most people are more attracted to the stars and the patterns they create, but you... the moon?" he let out a soft chuckle.

I rolled down my windows.

"Hey, the AC," he complained while he turn his car's air conditioning off and rolled down his windows as well.

I rested my right forearm on the window and my head slightly sticking out. I felt the cold breeze of air on my skin. Everything felt so peaceful.

"You see, there are so many of them-the starts," I looked at him for a second.

"They all look the same and despite the beautiful patterns or shapes they create, they will forever be the same," I continued explaining, changing my sight back to the sky.

"Yes, they might have different shapes and colors and properties and all that, but in mere sight... in people's eyes from where we stand right now, they all are the same," I rested my chin on my arm on the window.

"There's so many of them that people get distracted on which is really more captivating than group of stars that twinkle together. Group of stars that always have each other than the one that stands alone and never miss a night," I explained.

There was nothing but a soft music by Westlife intervened between us.

What would you do

If my heart was torn in two

More than words

To show you feel

That your love for me is real

I rested my back on the seat and slowly,  the music faded out as I fell asleep.

I would wake up in between with Levin singing softly along with the radio. I couldn't remember what the songs were cause I was too tired. Plus, I'd only wake up for couple of seconds then I'd fell back to sleep right away. Levin had my address on his GPS so I didn't have to worry about directing the way.

I was fast asleep in the car until I felt a soft voice and a gentle tap on my shoulders.

"Hey..." he sounded like an angel. Too bad he isn't near to one.

I slowly opened my eyes and I was shocked our face were so close to each other.

"Are we here?" I changed the direction of my eyes to the front of the car. I saw the road and we seemed to have stopped on the side of it. The night seem to have gotten darker.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"It's just 6:30 and we're like 10 minutes away from your house. I just wanted to sit here for a little bit and look around," he explained while grabbing his starbucks coffee in a bottle that he have taken from his house.

He made his way out and I was gonna follow, until a jacket on my lap caught my attention. It seem to have been on me the whole time, and it dropped on my lap when I got up to see where we were at. It's Levin's. Maybe that's why I felt so warm and cozy in my sleep, could Levin lent me his jacket so I won't get cold? I let out a smile.

I followed him outside leaving the jacket inside the car. He was just standing on the side of the car that is not close to the road. He was leaning as he looked on the distance while sipping his starbucks coffee. I leaned next to him and tried to find where he was looking at.

"What are you looking at?" I asked.

"Just the entire thing. This view looks really good from far away."

I remained quiet until he said something again.

"You see, sometimes things are prettier from afar. When something is complementing them. Like those buildings... those would just be plain old buildings if there's no street lights or lights in the buildings..." he began talking more.

"You were right about the moon and the stars, but not everything are the moon in the stars. Sometimes, you need other things...or people, to show your worth and to shine," he kept his eyes on the view.

"But sometimes, some things are prettier up close," he changed the direction of his eyes to me, who was caught off guard staring at him as he speak.

"Sometimes, it doesn't matter what people see, sometimes, what matters is what you know and how you see yourself. Sometimes, what matters is as long as the right person appreciates you, everything will no longer matter," he stared right through my eyes.

I froze for a second. Literally. It was really cold that night. I let out a little shiver and that distracted the two of us from staring at each other.
He smirked and opened the passenger's seat. He seemed to have grabbed the jacket I left in the car.

I was just watching him. I couldn't move as it felt like everything turned into a slow motion  movie when he puts the jacket on my back and pulled the front to cover me up. The wind blew my hair away from my face and it gave me a better view of his face. He has a very clear skin. He has a cute little mole on the right side of his chin. His eyes look tired but they are very charismatic, you can't take your eyes off of them. It's like a whole universe in there, very mysterious yet so beautiful. He also has a very sharp jawline that girls drool for, I don't get why. His hair is as dark as a raven, and he has full thick brows and long curly lashes that I would kill to have.

He moved back to his original position and continued looking on the beautiful view while taking a sip off of his coffee.

We said nothing and did nothing for literally 10 minutes. We just stared at the view and enjoyed the deafening quietness of the world. Heard nothing but crickets, the wind and sound of cars moving. I would sometimes casually look at him and admire his features and the way he looks.

"No wonder he gets all the girls. He's handsome and very charming. He would've been a dream if he'd only have the right attitude," I thought to myself.

"Let's go?" he caught my attention.

"Mhmm," I nodded.

He opened the door for me and I said my gratitude.

We drove home singing along with the songs on the radio. It was surprising that we knew almost all the lyrics to those fairly old songs.

Cause there's you and me
And of all other people with nothing to do
Nothing to prove
And there's you and me
And of all other people
And I don't know why
I can't keep my eyes off of you

We were just singing along. No insulting, no complains, just singing... I've never felt any more peaceful than I felt that night in a while at least, and it's with Levin, who would've thought.
