Then there is V. He catches a girl attempting to steal something from the store, and he stops her before she can succeed. Remember how he is normally the villain in the MVs? Here, he could be feeling the stigma (shame) of his wrongdoings by seeing the girl attempting something illegal as he had (his solo song is Stigma.) She reminds him of his old self and wants to keep her from doing bad things. Therefore, he pays for her items. She made him notice that there are others who are in the same position he was in, that he isn't alone with his choice of becoming a criminal at some point.
