BTS (방탄소년단) LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reel '轉' Theory

     OK so basically my mind no longer works because BigShit just casually decided to drop these bombs on ARMYs on a daily basis. I swear to God the r00dness. Bear with me ok? 😂

     First of all, I just want to clarify the girls might just be a figment of our babies' imagination, or are the boys' idea of perfection and someone they strive to be. A false self. But I am not too sure. But I do know they are a link and reminder of each boy's "partner" (Yoongi & Kookie, Namjoon & V, Hobi & Jimin) of some sort. And, each of their "fake" lives is now coming to an end.

     To start of the explanation, there is Jin. He begins the reel by saying that everything may seem good in life one second, but at the next it can actually crumble with the slightest touch and becomes reality. This means their fake, perfect life has to come into an end, and they have to face and love their true selves. He seems to be driving, and I immediately got the impression that HE MIGHT HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THE ONE WHO GOT INTO THE CAR ACCIDENT WITH KOOKIE (jungshook). You see the picture hanging from the mirror? We now know he DID know the boys, but since he isn't around them anymore, they might have been separated after the car accident, his fight with V, and I know there is something else but I can't remember at the moment >< During the course of the video, it is as if he is feeling some sort of pain and starts speeding. I think he might have been remembering the car accident with Kookie. At the end (this is so sad I cried), he is seen at a road and picks up some flowers from a truck. (Notice that these are the smeraldo flowers he saw in his girl's notebook!!) Then she is seen at the other end of the road, which pretty much clarifies everything. He knew to get her those flowers for their date because they were in her book. But once she crosses, it seems she is hit by a car/truck. *heart breaks* Though I really feel she was hit by a vehicle, he might have just been remembering what had happened with Kookie since he looks so shook, but doesn't run to help her. But it would make much sense if she did die because of his poster quote: "If I can turn back time, I want to be the best man in the world."

     Then we have Suga. We see an obviously drunk Yoongi climbing up the stairs. Now you might ask why he's drunk. Well, I think he got drunk because of Kookie calling him the day before. His girl had gone to play the guitar at Kook's hospital, and she played the song Suga had written for Jungkook. He might not have known she had gone and played HIS song, at KOOKS hospital, therefore being very shocked when he received a call from Jungkook. He could've gotten pissed, and fell back into old habits, like drinking. That is why he didn't want anything to do with the girl when she went after him in the street, and was giving his piano (where he wrote and played his song with JK) a good beating. (Notice he left the girl in the middle of the street. Maybe he did the same thing with JK, and therefore he got into the car accident.) Poster Quote: "Don't come closer, you'll become unhappy."

Now V. You can see TaeTae is spray painting the bus stop with the words, "Won't trust, can't trust, don't trust." (There are also the words "I'm fine" written various times, which could be the opposite of what was on him and Namjoon's poster, that said "Save me.") I think he wrote those words purposefully because he wanted Namjoon to read them, to know he was fine and didn't trust either him or anyone anymore. This might be because he didn't answer V's phone call. But then you see they are caught by the popo, so they start to run away and eventually reach an alley. When they have to give up, V turns himself in only because he felt guilty for dragging the girl into his little charade when she had nothing to do with it.

Namjoon is next. He is seen with the girl AGAIN, meaning he is still following her around. He has the same hairband from last time, and after a while gets up and leaves it atop her bag. He eventually gave up on following her around and loving her, and leaves her with the hair band. This could either mean he was leaving her a "piece" of him to be with her always, or it was HER hairband and he was leaving everything about her behind. Poster Quote: "I watch you from behind only, because now is not the time." (And see, he does notice the graffiti.)

Kookie's is fairly easy. He can walk now *fist pump* and is healthy. He is heading to his girl's room with a bouquet of flowers (the same kind he has in his poster.) He seems really happy (😢), meaning he might have adjusted to his "fake" life. But once he reaches the room, she is no longer there. She could have either died, or was discharged. She might have left him because she has successfully made him remember and even attempt to contact his "partner" Suga, knocking him back into reality.

Now finally, we have Jimin and Hobi. (This one has me shook, and kinda confused.) It shows Hobi and their girl dancing in a cheerful, lighted up room, while Jimin is dancing in a dark, gloomy room. But they are doing the exact same dance. Before I continue, I just want to say that I no longer think Jimin likes the girl. I think he more admires and is jealous of her, and wants to be like her. He might also wants the relationship she so happily has with Hobi. Later on, we see both Jimin and the girl collapsing at the same time. Now, this could be the cause of one of the following two reasons: 1) Jimin and the girl are somewhat connected because of the reason I just stated (he wants to be like her and is his image of perfection) so when he falls in his room, she falls in her room. Or 2) Jimin sees himself in a dark room because he feels that way, when in reality he is in the same room with Hobi and the girl. So, he completely forgot the girl was there dancing with him, and accidently hit her or bumped into her. Now you see her fall into Jimin's dark version of the room. When he falls, if you slow down the video, you can see his arm lands on what seems to be a nail. So that is why in next scene, you see him washing off blood in the sink. I assume he must've run off and left the girl there before Hobi could see him, so that is why he looks so desperate. You can then see Hobi carrying the knocked out girl (she hit her head when she fell) in the rain, probably to the hospital (no shit Sherlock.)

Shortly after, Jimin is shown running after them, but then abruptly stops and stands under his umbrella. His most likely was following them to help, but changes his mind halfway there and goes back. (See how he is soaking even if he is under the umbrella? This might, just might, be proof he is connected with the girl. This is because, she is wet due to the rain, and Jimin is soaked even though he SHOULD be shielded from it. Since the girl is covered in water, he makes Jimin become covered in water, because they are connected. Did I make any sense?)

Well, I think that's about it ^-^. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go to therapy.
