Hey everyone! I know it's been a while and I apologize, but to make up for it there's some good fluff in this chap. :) I promise there is plan, and I'm looking forward to watching it unfold. Please don't forget to vote and comment, and I hope you enjoy!

On Whale's return visit to check on everything, they informed him of their decision, and he started making the preparations, writing out a prescription for them to get filled at the pharmacy. He wrote out instructions for daily care and Killian called Emma and David to get their help transporting everything to the house so all they'd have to do tomorrow was pick Lili up. A little while after he'd called them, the two arrived. "Is it alright if Emma comes in, lass?"
Lili nodded after a moment, sighing. "She'll see me soon enough anyway. Might 's well get it overwith."
"Alright lass." Killian got up and opened the door, letting father and daughter in. "Welcome," he greeted, small smile lifting his lips. Emma kissed his cheek and he returned it, hand on her shoulders gently guiding her in.
"Hey kid," she said after a moment, hands in her back pockets.
"Swan." Lili watched her carefully, noting her open stance. Her pupils had widened, but she seemed generally okay with the situation, or at least appeared to be.
"Good to see you awake," Emma smiled.
"Good to be awake. And see," she added, smiling a little.
"Well, what can we load up for you?"
"Y'can take everything except the first book and..and the shell," she decided. "Thank you."
"Oh, Emma, d'you think you could get this..filled? So it'll be ready tomorrow?" Killian asked, handing her the slip that Whale had given him as he tried to remember the exact words the doctor had used.
Emma took it and read it. "Yeah, sure thing. I'll take it by the pharmacy on the way home." She turned her attention to Lili. "What kind of clothes do you want me to bring tomorrow?"
"One of my button-down shirts and my sweatpants should do fine; don't know if I c'ld wear anything else anyway."
Emma nodded. "Alright. Any specific one or?"
Lili shook her head. "Any one is fine."
"Okay. Any food you want me to get you?"
She shrugged. "I figure I'll just wait until tomorrow. It'll be easier."
"Okay kid. Lemme know if you change your mind."
"Alright. Thanks Swan."
She and David took out the three vases of flowers, coming back for the other books. Lili's eyes flicked to the wall as Killian hung in the doorway and Emma kissed him goodbye. "See you later, pirate," she murmured, the door closing as Killian stepped back inside, grinning.
"Bluddy hell," Lili muttered, unable to keep from smirking at him.
"What, is it a crime to enjoy being in love?" he questioned, turning, fingers wrapped around his belt-buckle as he leaned against the door, good humor twinkling in his eyes.
"Maybe not a crime, but..it's quite obvious."
"And guess what?"
"What."
"I don't care." He grinned. "I don't care if it's obvious; I've had to hide it for too damn long; I'm not going to hide it anymore."
Lili shook her head, smiling a little. "You're incorrigible, y'know that?"
His grin grew a little wider. "Oh, I'm well aware."

The rest of the day was spent well in conversation and slumber, Emma bringing some food by for Killian at lunch, spending dinner with them. Finally night came, and Lili sighed, settling her head back on the pillow, her hand in Killian's. (Even though she could see, the contact still provided comfort.) "A'you ready lass?" he asked.
She huffed a laugh. "Ahsk me again tomorrow."
"Alright."
Silence rested between them for a moment. "We've got the television, the beach, your drawings. 'M sure we could get more books from the library if you'd like. And I don't doubt you'll have suitors lining up out the door awaiting the day you're recovered to sweep you off your feet."
She laughed. "I doubt that, but it is a very nice thought."
He smiled, and she sighed.
"Best t'get some sleep. Tomorrow'll come in its own time."
She nodded, and they both settled back, Killian watching her. It only took a few minutes for her to drop off, and he watched a few minutes more before he shifted back in his chair, sitting low enough to rest his head on the back of it, closing his eyes.
Welcome tomorrow.
