Le Chels
* * *
The next day was spent quietly, Killian staying home with her again. The two mostly kept to their books, taking breaks in their reading for food and the bathroom. Killian set the timer on the microwave after lunch to help him remember to get dinner together before Emma got back from the station, and his plan worked. Supper went easily and well, Killian, Emma, and Lili keeping up a steady stream of teasing amidst the relation of each others' days. Lili went to bed early once more, not asking Killian to join her this time. He and Emma managed to make it through a whole movie before they fell asleep, and the next day went in much the same manner, though Lili found she had more energy after supper, staying up with the family, Henry over again that night. It was about seven o'clock when a few solid knocks sounded on the door. Emma got up from where they'd been playing a card game, opening the door. "Can I help you?"
A tall, blond young man turned his head from where he'd been looking around, smiling when he saw her. She thought he looked familiar, but wasn't quite sure from where.
His lips moved, but no sound came from them. He held out a hand, and Emma shook it hesitantly. Her brow furrowed as she tried to read his lips. Hi, I'm Fissk.
"Fisk?" Emma tried, and he nodded, almost beaming. "It's good to meet you, I'm Emma. What're you doing here?"
His mouth opened and he thought for a minute before he started signing, and her brow furrowed. He pointed to himself then his eyes before threading his fingers through his hair once, twirling his index finger. He held his hand at about Lili's height, trying to figure out how else he could communicate. His face lit up and he pointed to his eyes again, then to Emma's blue shirt.
"You..want to see Lili?"
He nodded, grinning in relief; she understood.
"Hey kid, are you up for a visitor?"
"Who is it?"
"Fisk."
Lili's heart skipped half a beat before it began to sink. Her bruises were even more colorful; though that was part of the process of healing, she still didn't want him to see them, but..she did want to see him. She thought for a few moments before deciding.
"Yeah sure. Just gimme a moment." She pulled up the little bottle tied around her neck, pouring some of the dust into her palm before corking it, splitting the amount between her palms before she threw it onto her face, coughing a little. Her brow furrowed a little as she concentrated, and her bruises disappeared.
"That's cool," Henry chuckled.
"A'you sure that's the best idea, lass?" Killian asked gently.
"I will see my friends in the way I wish to see them," she replied, voice low. "Ready Swan," she said a bit louder.
Emma stepped back, allowing Fisk in. He looked around a little, eyes lighting when they landed on Lili. Hi, he grinned. He waved at everyone.
She couldn't help smiling. "Hi y'self."
Fisk came down, shaking Killian's hand once he'd put down his hand of cards.
"Fisk. Good t'see you lad."
Fisk dipped his head to the captain. And you, sir.
The golden-haired young man held out his hand to Henry. Hi, I'm Fisk.
