   The sound of running on the hard pavement filled the air. Blood could be seen dripping from the roofs of the shattered, stone houses. All of Wall Maria had been ruined in a matter of minutes. All the while, Eren Jaeger soared above the abandoned buildings where all the frightened children hid. All around him, his fellow soldiers in the Scout Regiment were injured, or dead. Tears of anger flowed from his face as he yelled in agony. His gear needed to be replaced and his swords were broken, but unfortunately, there was no time to do anything. There was never any time. Eren hated being so helpless while his comrades fought, but all he wanted to do was survive a while longer. As he flew, he felt something close around him. He kicked and screamed, but there wasn't anything he could do. He fell limp, and waited to be swallowed by a colossal titan.
   "Eren!!"
   Eren turned his head, but couldn't see who was calling to him. "Eren!!"
   "Eren!"
   "Eren!"
   "Wake up, Eren!"
   Eren opened his eyes. Sweating and panting heavily, he scanned the room around him to find that he was only in his bedroom, with Levi Ackerman standing above him. "Oi, Eren," Levi said, "Are you having a bad dream again?" "L-Levi....," Eren stuttered. Levi sighed. "Eren, why the sudden outbursts of nightmares lately?" Levi sat down on the bed next to Eren and pulled the covers over his legs. He stared at Eren carefully and furrowed his brows. Eren blushed, he felt Levi's eyes on him as if they were creating a hole in his face. "I... I'm not sure," he replied as he wiped a tear from his face. "Well," Levi said, "Try not to dream from now on if this is how it's going to be." "Levi! I can't NOT dream!" Eren laughed. "Of course you can, brat. You can dream in your heart all you want, but I'm certain that, if you try hard enough, you can stop dreaming. It would be better for the rest of us in this house if you would," Levi stated. "Y-yes Corporal," Eren mumbled. Sighing, Levi stood up and walked out the door, quietly closing it on the way out. "I wonder how Levi would react to having a bad dream. He would probably just put it aside," Eren thought as he slowly closed his eyes and drifted back to sleep.
