I'll be here

Chapter 7

Eren and Levi's lips made contact. Eren gasped in shock. "L-Levi...is...kissing me?!" He thought.

Levi's eyes closed slowly. In this moment, it was only him and Eren. He knew Eren was shocked, but he embraced the shock.

They kissed a while longer, and they slowly pulled back. Levi furrowed his brows at Eren, who pulled back with wide eyes and a raging blush. Eren eyed Levi up and down. "Um," Eren mumbled, "Levi, n-not that I didn't enjoy that... I MEAN U-UM WELL DON'T TAKE THAT INTO TOO MUCH CONTEXT I DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING BY THAT AND I-"

Eren rambled on and on. Levi stared at Eren with a confused look. "AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO THINK I DID OR DIDN'T LIKE IT BUT I MEAN UM IT'S NOT LIKE I DIDN'T," Eren yelled fretfully. "AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW WELL I MEAN I DO WANT YOU TO KNOW I LIKED IT AND I LIKE YOU!!! UM WAIT NO I MEAN UM AW CRAP I DIDN'T NO UM-"

"EREN!" Levi shouted, interrupting Eren. Eren shook his head and looked down at the bed, embarrassed by his rambling. "Eren, look at me," Levi said. Eren didn't move a muscle. Levi sighed, grabbed Eren's head in his hands, and pulled his head up.

"Hey!!" Eren yelled. "What the-" "I told you to look at me and you didn't, brat!" Levi said. Eren sighed. "Sorry...,"  he mumbled.

Levi grumbled under his breath. "Look Eren, I...I like you too, okay? That's... that's why I did that...and... and when I found out about your nightmares you've been having lately, I just... I just didn't want to leave you alone to be afraid," Levi said.

Eren was barely breathing. He was having trouble even looking at Levi, much less processing what he was saying. He fell back on the bed. "W-well, if you don't mind, Levi," Eren whispered, "Can you...stay with me to make sure I'll be alright?"

Levi's eyes widened slightly. Eren stared at Levi with his beautiful, blue-green eyes. They sat looking at each other for what seemed like hours. After much hesitation, Levi pulled the covers over him and Eren, and curled in a ball near Eren's chest. "Don't worry Eren," Levi said.

"I'll be here."

{A/N: EEEEE so that's all that I'll be writing of this short Ereri story. I've been wanting to start on another book idea I've had for a while and I'm SUUUUPER excited to start on it. I might not start it RIGHT AWAY but eventually I'll get to it. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this! Or all that there was anyway...
