Chapter 3

{a/n: I'm changing up my writing style and putting spaces between each paragraph from now on lol. Sorry if the BIG paragraphs were confusing.}

It was the evening after training, and the Scout Regiment had decided to head to their bedrooms after a long day of exhaustion.

"Finally," Eren said. "God, I'm so tired." He changed into his pajamas and laid down on his bed. As he closed his eyes, he heard a voice.

"Are you sure you want to do that?" It said.

Eren opened his eyes to see Levi standing above his bed, staring at him with his brows furrowed. "Geez Levi, you heard of privacy? And do what?" "Are you sure you want to go to bed after what happened last night, brat?" Levi asked.

A sudden flashback of the night before flooded Eren's mind. He didn't want to relive it, but he couldn't keep his eyes open much longer. "Oh come on Levi," Eren said, "What's the worst that could happen? It's not like nightmares are going to happen every nighr for several nights in a row!"

Levi sighed heavily. He was getting frustrated with Eren. He didn't want Eren to wake up scared after another nightmare again. "Okay then, I'll make a deal with you Eren," Levi said. "You can go to bed now, but I'm laying here with you to make sure you'll be alright if another nightmare occurs."

"W-w-what?" Eren stuttered. "Y-you, lay here... m-me?" "Oi, don't be stupid," Levi said. "I meant what I said, so don't put too much thought into it. I'm staying here with you tonight to make sure you're alright, and that's final." Eren tried to cover the blush that surpressed his face. He could feel his cheeks getting hotter by the second. "And wipe that blush off of your face too," Levi ordered. "Y-yes captain!" Eren replied.

Eren tucked himself into his covers, and Levi did the same. He was close enough to touch Eren, but not smother him. Eren shut off the light and laid down, praying Levi couldn't hear his heart beating out of his chest. "Goodnight captain," Eren whispered. "You too, brat," Levi replied.
