It's been three minutes since Wybie got pulled out of the mirror. I know for a fact that the Other Mother knows I'm here, but I also know she's testing me.

I finally crack, swinging the doors open, attempting to jump back into the hallway. To my surprise, it actually works and I'm standing in the other hallway.

"Evil Witch!" I call out, bravely standing my ground. "Give me Wybie back or else!" I yell at her, as I watch her slowly walk downstairs.

"Well, well, well." She smirks, coming down the stairs. Over to the right, I can see Wybie tied to a chair, duck tape taped onto his mouth.

"Why are you doing this?" I angrily whispered. "What did Wybie do to you?"

"Oh honey." She smirked. "It's not what Wybie did." She said. "It's what you did."

"You cheated and you lied."

I grimaced, feeling terrible that Wybie had to go through this just because I didn't want to die in a world that doesn't even exist.

"You evil piece of trash." I angrily said through gritted teeth. "If you wanted to get revenge on me, why did you drag Wybie into this?"

"That was the only way to reach you, Jonsie." She smirked, making me grimace again.

"How about I win him back?" I dared, as the Beldam looked taken back. "If I win, Wybie gets to come home with me, and you leave us alone."

"But what happens if you don't win?"

"Then Wybie goes home, and I die with you." I grimaced, fighting the tears. "If I lose, you get to sew buttons in my eyes." I choked out. "For real this time. No cheating. No running away."
I added, as hot tears were fighting to come out. Wybie was screaming in the corner, as the Beldam grinned evilly.

"It's a deal."

I'm outside the other dimension with the black cat from our world. He comes and goes as he pleases. I found him sitting on the roof, waving his tail back and forth.

The Beldam sent me to go and find the three mice roaming around this sick and evil world. Each mouse had a special trinket that the Beldam needed. If I found all three, Wybie and I go home.

"There it is!" I exclaimed, diving for the mice, stopping it with my body. I grabbed the first trinket, cheering myself on.

"Well done, miss." The first one said in a deep voice. "You win this round."

He scurried off, leaving the black cat and I to our thoughts.

I finally got the second one, putting both trinkets in my bag. I had one left to find and I would be home free.

"There you are!" I exclaimed. I ran to the mouse with all my strength, but this one was faster than both of the two combined.

"Come back here!" I hissed, reaching for the mouse, but ended up getting bit. I screeched, dropping the mouse, as it scurried underneath the house.

"No!!"

I slumped down, looking inside my bag, and seeing a picture of Wybie and I at the party last year.

"Wybie, I-I lost. I lost everything." I sobbed, holding my hands to my face.

A familiar meow snapped me out of my thoughts, as I looked up, seeing the cat with the trinket.

"I don't like rats at the best of times." He purred, walking towards me. "You might need this." He nudged the trinket towards me, as I put it in my bag.

"Thank you." I said, picking him up. "Let's go inside."

"We have to save him."
