~Jefferson POV~

I tried to laugh as quietly as possible but i couldnt. This is why i fell in love with these two idiots. They're the best. I love them with all my heart.

The librarian shushed us once more and walked away muttering. Me, James, and John had decided to spend sometime in the library together to try and get some homework done.

As we taked and laughed some more, I stared out the window. I saw a flash of color (he can see color! now i can actually describe stuff in color now...) and movement through the trees near the library. I had to squint to see them clearer.

There were two people. A tall buff guy and a smol guy talking to each other. The taller one was holding something but i couldnt see what it was. The smaller male reminded me of someone.

Hamilton. My old soulmate.

But he didnt look exactly like him. His hair was a little more redder and his skin was a little bit lighter. (remember the disguise is just beginning to fade) I brushed it off. There was no way it could be Hamilton. It was probably just a person who looked similar.

Then, I saw the two men walk deeper into the forest.

"Hello? Earth to Thomas?"

A voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned and saw James and John smirking at me.

"Whatcha' lookin' at?" John said. I described what I had just seen.

"Huh, weird. There's no way it couldve been Ham-" Jemmy started to say before he was cut off by a loud noise.

A gunshot.

I had only thought that I would hear that sound in movies. My heart sped up and I turned back to the window but I saw nothing.

Everyone in the library had stopped. They were all looking for the source of the sound.

"Let's get back to our dorm before anything bad happens," John mumbled as he got up from his seat.

Me and Jemmy nodded and got up.

~Alex POV~

"Fine."

The taller man nodded his head and turned around, walking deeper into the forest. I snuck a glance behind me and saw Thomas looking at us through the glass.

I followed the guy for about a minute before he stopped in front of a big tree.

"Ok, put your forehead on the tree," the spy said suddenly making me jump a little. I did as he asked, not wanting to die earlier than I needed to.

Maybe there was still a way out. I could try to run away but I was sure that he could chase me down easily. I could also try to fight him but he had a gun and I had nothing, it was hopeless. I wracked my brain for another escape route but came up empty. This was it. This was the only way to save Thomas and the agency.

As I out my forehead against the rough bark, I felt cold metal against my head.

The gun.

I tried to calm my breathing. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths.

(here we gooooo another countdown)

"Ten, nine, eight..."

Frantically, I kept trying to think of more ways to escape.

"Five..."

I closed my eyes tighter and finally accepted the fact that there was no way around this.

"Three..."

I hope this is worth it. It better be.

"Two..."

I love you Thomas. I love you Thomas.

"One..."

I love you Tho-
