Marty POV:
Ever since I met Buffy I've fallen in love with her since. She is so beautiful and smart. Were now in high school, with her being more competitive as ever. Me and her both are on in the track team. The varsity team. When I'm near Buffy, I feel different nervous, worried what she'll think of me if I say something really stupid. When it's the end of the day I see her talking with her friends. Some girls talk to me but I only have eyes for Buffy. I finally get the courage and walk over to her. "Hey", I smile lightly at her trying not to look weird or crazy. Buffy looks up at me, I can't believe what I'm about to do but I'm gonna ask her out. Im about to say the words, do you want to hang put but instead i say..."Did you know you're eyes are the color of the sewer"? Buffy looks at me with disgust and rolls her eyes and walks away. I can't believe I said that to the girl that I like. I wanted to yell down the hall and say I didn't mean that but I can't I'm way too emabarssed. I look around and walk down the hall going to the entrance where my mom is to pick me up.
" Hey sweetie, how was your day? I groan and just face the window, and seeing Buffy, Andi, and Cyrus laugh about maybe about me. Marty the loser. Seems to have a good ring to it. I then just think about Buffy and how stupid I must be to her. I'll have to make it up to her. Somehow.
