Your POV

I wake up, stretching out on my bed like a starfish. I moan as I feel my bones crack. A deep chuckle resonates in my head.
"What? " I ask him.
"Nothing " he says, I roll my eyes and get up. Heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower.

I come back to my room afterwards, looking to see the time. It seemed bright out but not too bright. I was wondering how long I've been with Dark in actual time. While searching for my phone, I remembered something.

I fell asleep on the couch, and I had just kicked out Mark, and it wasn't night when I fell asleep.

Main question is how the hell did I get up to my room. There's no way Dark could've done it.

I reached mid way on my stairs when I saw someone sitting on my couch. My rushing feet stopped, hoping they didn't hear me. As far as I could tell, they didn't. I crept down the rest of the steps and grabbed an umbrella which was near the staircase. At least to arm myself. As I looked at them, I saw this person was on my phone, but sure what they were doing but it was definitely my phone in their hands.

They looked like Mark but he wouldn't dare come back here after what he did. He'd have to be insane.

Could it possibly be Dark?

Something about the thought of it being him made me happy.

But I couldn't be sure. I gripped the umbrella tightly and raised it in case I needed to bash this person across the head. I stepped closer and saw that they were going through my pictures. There wasn't much pictures of me but the few that were there, they were constantly looking at them.

I gulped softly and took up the courage to speak, in the worse case scenario, I was armed and he wasn't. I'd still be able to fight if it were a threat.

"Wh-who are you? " I asked trying to hide my fright. He turned around and when he saw me, he jumped out of his seat and ran up to me. Before I could even react, he was hugging me.

"Oh my God, thank God you're alive" he said with a cracked voice. I stood completely dumbstruck, not moving. Still trying to process what was happening.

"M-mark?" I was more questioning myself than anyone else. He pulled away and cupped my face in his two hands.
"What happened? Are you ok? God I was so worried" he rambled out frantically.
"W-what? " I barely knew what to say or ask. He was making no sense and as far as I'm concerned, he shouldn't be here.

"I - I didn't know what to do, I was so worried. I had no idea what was happening. God, you shouldn't be standing, sit down" he took my hand and slightly dragged me to sit on the couch. He took the umbrella from my hands which I forgot I was still holding, and set it aside.

"What are you doing here? " I asked and he looked as if that was the last thing he expected me to ask.

He took a breath, shook his head slightly and started
"I..I just couldn't go, I couldn't leave so I came back and found you on the couch knocked out. And..and I saw the knife and I thought...but you were fine. But then your heart was so slow, almost not beating and it hardly looked like you were breathing. I - I - I just, I thought the worst, I didn't what to do"

I could barely keep up with what he was saying, only that he came back and then thought I was dead for some reason.

His body stiffened as he repeated softly
"I thought I lost you" then he hugged me again, tightly. Too tightly for my comfort.

"What happened? " I became legitimately terrified of that question for some reason. Maybe it was because I was scared of what Dark might do if I said, or because I just didn't want to tell him. Either way I couldn't just say
"Oh, yknow, your demon told me to chillax and then I was in some forest close to raspy hill. And we just chilled together, talked about killing people, brought up shit he did to me and I did to him in the past and made out a little, no big deal"
I couldn't say that.
