The Jewel of the Frost Giants

Prologue

In a realm a frost giant is about to get banished to earth. In a huge throne room a king sits on his throne looking down at this frost giant with his son and wife by his side. The guards had brought in the frost giant with chains on his arms and legs with a mouth guard on, clothes green and black with some gold mixed in.

"For the destruction of the city, New York, I here by banish you to earth with no powers, to live as a mortal," the king announces to the giant.

The king then stands up and walks down to the frost giant with his hand placed over the giant, he starts to drain the magic energy away. When he pulls away he tells the guards to take the giant away to his room until they're ready to transport him down. The frost giant smirked while he was being taken by the guards because they king didn't fully take all of his magic away but drained it enough so that it will be hard to use if he does use it. With time and concentration the giant will eventually get his magic back fully.

A few minutes went by since they took the frost giant back to his room until someone knocked

"You have someone who wants to meet you" the guard said opening the door looking up the frost giant saw a beautiful women walk in with dark brown hair, fair skin, slim body and crystal blue eyes

"10 minutes" the guard said closing the door, when it was closed the women ran up to the frost giant he got up from where he was sitting and came to her, they both embraced each other.

"You shouldn't have come" the frost giant said his voice soft while pulling away looking at the women

"I had to, what is your punishment?" she asked

"Banished to Earth to live as a mortal with a small amount of magic" he said taking her hands into his, a tear slipped down the women's face "I'll find a way for us to see each other. I promise" she said looking into the frost giant's emerald eyes with hers holding back the tears that soon overflow onto her face. The frost giant hated to see her like this and kissed her then pulled away "I know we will see each other soon." he wiped the tears with the pads of his thumb "I love you" he says

"I love you too" she says hugging him while crying again. The frost giant shushed her and tried to tell her it will be ok. The guard came in saying that time was up and escorting the women out.

An hour went by until the frost giant was sent down to Earth. He landed in the middle of some woods walking in the direction that seemed to be west he came upon a small cottage. Going up to the door of the cottage he knocked wondering if anyone was inside. When no one came he turned the knob and opened the door noticing that it was abandoned he made it his home.

A week has passed since the giant had been banished. Today an angel was planning on seeing the giant (remember that women who visited the frost giant shes the angel). She went up to the guard of the Bifröst bridge, Hiemdall saying she will be there sometime but not long. Asking where she was going she lied and told him she was going to see the sites down on Earth. He let her go down, there she ended up where the frost giant had landed spreading her wings out she flew around until coming upon a little cottage. She landed in front of it she walked up and knocked on the door. When the frost giant opened up he was practically tackled down by the angel being so happy to see him.

After that they talked to each other very happy to see one another again. The angel spent about a week there with him until the angel stated to become weak and had to leave and go back home.

A month passed and the angel went every week to see the frost giant and helped him while she was down there. In two weeks of her visiting she got him to move from the cottage in the forest to a two story house that both of them loved in a neighborhood. The both hated not seeing each other all the time so the angel decided to runaway and live on Earth with the frost giant. At first her magic started to drain until there were only a few ounces of magic left like the frost giant. With so little magic she couldn't use her wings without being extremely weak after it.

A year later after the angel ran away they got married in private. Then five years after a small girl was born at first she looked like a frost giant with her blue skin and red eyes then that faded she had black hair, pale skin, emerald eyes, and thinner than other baby's would be. On her back there were to sea foam colored wings about as wide to her shoulder blades.

"She looks so beautiful" the frost giant said kissing the child's head

"She is, what should we name her?" she asked looking down at the little girl

"I was thinking emerald" he said

"I think Jewel fits better" the angel said

"I think that's perfect" the frost giant said then the angel was suddenly feeling very weak and she knew she was close to death from how hard the last two months have been on her. Nonstop shivering and cold is what she felt no matter what helped. With her knowing this she told her husband she loved him and the baby girl Jewel she has and will always love her. With that she handed the child over to him then closed her eyes letting the darkness take her. The frost giant cried so sad that the one and only person that loved him and understood him is taken away. He looked down at the small being in his arms.

He leaned down and kissed the small child's head "I promise to you that I will care for our child and protect her no matter what happens. I will love her more than anything in the universe" he whispered to the child and his wife.
