We were in one of our last few days of kingsman training, we'd been training and living together for weeks now, and it's safe to say we know each other very well by now. Today half of us we're going up in the plane to skydive out of it to land on a target. Long story short I was one of the ones to stay on the ground and one of my closest friend's here, Eggsy, was going up in the plane. I was only worried because it was kingsman and anything could happen.
Twenty minutes after the first group had gone up, they all jumped, we could see them all as dots plummeting towards the ground. After 3 minutes or so of them free falling we heard Merlin speaking to them through their helmets, saying how they looked like they were having fun then told them in some words that one of them had no parachute. My heart skipped and my breath shortened, this might not go well. I watched as some figures stopped dead in the air as they opened their parachutes. Then there were only two left, I had no clue who they were but they were close to the ground and it looked dangerous. I watched intensely as one opened their parachute and the other clung desperately on to the one with a parachute. As they gently eased to the ground I let out a breath as I jogged over to where the first two landed, the one without a parachute and the one who saved him/her. As I neared the pair I saw that it was Roxy and Eggsy, I lost my breath again when I saw it was Eggsy without the parachute. He had already pulled his skydiving gear off so he was in his button up top, tie and trousers. I ran over and embraced him in a hug. Slightly awkwardly and confused, he hugged me back.
"Are you ok?" I asked stepping back, he nodded and then he looked me in the eye and I saw his going darker. I furrowed my eyebrows, "what?" I asked. Eggsy grabbed my arm and dragged me away from the crowd and around the side of the building. Once away from the others he started talking.
"You knew!" He snarled, "you bloody knew it was me! Why didn't you try tell me?" I was taken aback, how could he think that!
"No Eggsy of course I didn't know! If I knew I'd tell you anyway I could anyway I could." He stepped towards me and I back away, my back hitting the wall.
"Bullshit!" He said his voice raising as he said the word, I grabbed his tie pulling him down to my level.
"No, Eggsy! You don't yell at me, you have a problem, you whisper it in my ear so you don't embarrass yourself, or me with your ridiculous comments." He pulled my hand from his tie, still holding the wrist and grabbing the other one in the process, he pinned them either side of me. He then leaned towards my ear, his warm breath consumed my neck, when he spoke softly in my ear, he was so close I felt his lips move against my ear.
"If you knew, I wish you would've told me, if not, I'm sorry." With that he let me go, and turned away. I grabbed his wrists as he was turning away and I leaned towards his ear but he swiftly turned his head and caught my lips on their path. Surprised I went to move away but he pressed himself against me and put his hands on my hips and held me there. Relaxing I kissed him back, it only lasted a moment, but that was enough.
"I'm sorry," he whispered, "I was just scared and I took it out on you." I smiled, looking down.
"It's fine, I was just going to tell you, again, that I didn't know." He smiled at me.
"I know." He leaned a soft peck on my lips before walking back to the others, pulling me along with him. When we were back with the group they all looked at us funny, Merlin smirked.
"About bloody time you two." He murmured before continuing with what he was saying.
